If we don't make it, I think it will be bloody awesome. I will be cheering for him to kick a bag.
I guarantee they call him little bitch.
I'll be eating a whole tub of ice cream and sobbing at the TV.

I'm a little surprised there has been no further media coverage, since the SEN report, of Chapman to us being a done deal.
That mega trade would never go through seeing as the team holding the ace (Melbourne) are getting d*cked the worse.
I'm a fan of Myers and I hope we hang on to him but let's be frank - he's currently a B-grader that could potentially become an A-grader.
Bernie Vince is also a B-grader
Wouldn't surprise me, they usually do pull story's out of thier arses.Me too. Starting to wonder if SEN have duped us
No one needs another reason to ridicule SENMe too. Starting to wonder if SEN have duped us

Nice move not tagging me in that, didn't think you'd have the balls. My problem with people like you is that you make exaggerated and thus completely incorrect statements about the supposed lack of worth of guys like Pears, when realistically, he was consistently getting games through the back half of the season, alongside Carlisle, Hooker and Fletcher. Again, and I actually can't believe I'm repeating myself, he had very good games mixed with bad games, which is what you'd reasonably expect from a bloke who's barely strung any games together for the best part of two years due to serious injury. Again, and I can't believe I'm being forced to repeat this as well, it's difficult to get back to form immediately without consistency in selection, and my contention the whole time has been that he will be a very valuable player if he can manage to hold his body together and stay in the side. The idea that Pears has no place in our team would be comically wrong if it wasn't so boringly ignorant and frustrating: he's been playing in the ****ing side, so how has he managed that you mental pigmy? This is the crux of it, there is room for one in my view and at the risk of repeating myself and OhTayteRidge chiming in with his nonsense... Pears has neither a place as a KPD or a HB in our team it is worth investing in the potential improvement of Gumby for our misfiring FWD line than Tayte who doesn't have the game to fill a spot in a very solid defensive 6
You inferred wrong.
It'll probably be left up to Gumby.
He may want to go home to WA.
Looks like if the Port's Polec deal falls through, We might throw pick 30 at you for Gumbleton. (which is better than Freo's offer of 33)
Personally I think he could be that guy that helps spur on Butcher to compete (So he would be fighting for his spot instead of being given gold tickets)
And of course Essendon get higher in the draft order.
Any deal that involves us getting pick 2.. would be golden.
I agree that ppl become obsessed with picks.. and they usually end up poorly..
But in modern times.. a top 3 pick - especially if a midfielder - tend to end up pretty good players...
Pick 2 would be awesome.. especially if all we have to give up is Crameri and Myers.. can't believe it would happen.. but that would be the steal of the century for EFC.
I'm a little skeptical about the Chapman signing. Something doesn't add up. He shredded the last game he played in a sudden death final and is supposedly fit enough for us to sign him for two years immediately following Geelong's decision to moved him on (when it seems that the fear of them overrating their list has manifested itself in them probably overrating the VFL squad).
Happy that we have his quality around the place, even if it is just in the change rooms, but I'll probably only be thrilled in hindsight. Hope it happens.
