Flamini should not of been allowed back on. IMO he knocked himself out when he hit his head on the ground.

That was a terrible end to the half.
I'm a tad worried at the amount of possession inferior teams tend to have against us for 10-15 min periods. We can hardly get a toe on the ball.

Think its a deliberate tactic where we allow the opposition to have the ball and let them use up their energy, in the mean time we stay compact and make sure everyone is occupying the space they have been assigned. Then after the 10-15 minute spell we hit them hard and pick up a goal or two. Only problem with today was Ramsey was pushing forward and applying pressure and Arteta was left to cover more space then he is capable of, which is where Flamini trumps Arteta as Flamini is able to cover more space and it is quicker in getting to position.
Tomnat Tigers Arteta looks too slow to play the holding midfield spot on his own. I wonder how much longer he will be a regular starter.
I honestly don't know what's more attractive. Giroud, or the style of football we play when we're on.
Wow we smashed them in the end, we only played in bits and pieces and trounced them 4 - 1, if we sign a striker in January and were still there abouts I'd say we are absolutely genuine title contenders. That goal from Ramsey and assist from him was amazing he is in some serious form hopefully he continues on with it. He hit 2 other shots that could have pretty easily gone in as well. Our best player this season by a mile with Giroud and Ozil not too far behind. I'm loving this!! 
The fans at the emirates used Bergkamp's old song for Ozil.

Even the B52 (or should we call him the B23 now?) did ok in his limited time today, no goal but he's doing enough to suggest he's at least viable as a relief for Giroud in the cup games.
Also the reverse goal with Giroud lobbing it up to Ozil head for the finish was funny I never really thought I would see that lol

When the players are pointing at eachother and looking frustrated, it's not a tactic at all.
Yeah I mentioned on here during pre-season that I was concerned Arteta had lost speed over the break and whilst I was hoping it was just a case of him taking it easy in pre-season, it appears that he has. I do think he and Flamini can work together when we play at home and away from home but only against certain teams. So whilst him losing his pace is a concern, i'm sure he will still be a very important player for us over the course of the season but it looks like Flamini may be our number one option for the DM role. Though Wenger recently said that long term he see's Wilshere in this role, its just a matter of does it happen this season or wait until next season.

It's a tactic we have used, but I don't think we were using today, I think we were just generally slow and out of sorts in midfield after Flamini went off.

Arteta does not offer much at all these days.
He's behind Ramsey, Flamini and Wilshere in the midfield double pivot pecking order for mine.

Today was the first time where we looked uncomfortable, which like I said in my previous post was because Ramsey was leaving Arteta with too much room to occupy. As for pointing thats making sure players don't switch off, so I disagree with that not being a tactic. Another thing with today was Ozil and Giroud were tired and didn't pressure like they should have.

The look on Wenger's face in his presser when he was asked about the first goal was brilliant. Looked like he was about to start giggling with glee at any point, that was a classic Wenger-style Arsenal goal. He loved it.
