Home/Clash jumpers. No POWER logo on the front and no 1870 above the numbers on the back. While these are nice touches, their removal just cleans it up a little and makes it look crisp and classy. Thoughts?

Really like it, but Id rather keep the 1870 and just remove the logo.

It looks plain and as a brief follower of St Kilda before Port joined the AFL it's all I see. To each their own however, but until we see what one looks like in the flesh we can never be sure. Let's make a pozzible/kickstarter fund and have ISC make one.

If it's about having more black to look cool and tough, the front looks great as is. If it's about moving away from the prison bars for the sake of it, I'm not big on doing anything "for the sake of it". That back is how Port Adelaide has looked from the rear for 50+ years and I see no reason why it can't continue.

Anyhow I've stated my case/opinion and I'll move on now.

Personally, for next year, I'd like to see the monogram used on more pieces, used like a secondary logo of sorts. I think it was either finbarr or tribey who had the idea of a beanie with it on there, looked all class from what I can remember.

I'd also like to see us wear a pre-season guernsey. Clubs such as Richmond and Western Bulldogs do it with great success. I'd suggest either a silver based or a teal based guernsey, such as what I've mocked up just below. We don't have to look like pansies during the premiership season, but at least we can sell some more guernseys and make some more cash.

I like the teal jumper. It would be good for an alternative clash to be worn maybe 3 or 4 times against Carlton Richmond St Kikda and Collingwood away.
A lot on here want to steer away from teal and be all black and white but that is past history.
We are silver teal and black and white.

I certainly like the teal better than the full white clash we wear now.

No. 1 reason I wouldn't like to see a Teal clash is because it would look awful with white shorts. Used to be ok with our teal based guernseys when we would wear black shorts against the likes of Sydney, but otherwise no, and these days we can just wear our full BiB kit against those teams

Re: the teal guernsey, i made this a month or so ago and posted it on the design board. not so sure if i like it, or it might just be the way i made it look.

This looks shopped.

Less Sturt pls.

I would prefer a sturt blue over a bluey green any day

for the record: rick davies and motley should have played for port!

gotta find a way to use a teal jumper with black shorts, black socks.

this is one of our most underrated kits. i love the black and white sashbolt. of all the jumpers designed with the 'modern-meets-traditional' angle, this has to be right up there.
