Totally agree Newton was a class above today. He looked great but Logan was BOG by so far it was ridiculous. He will cop a tag across half back in the real season, he's just too good for this league.
There's still something about Mitch Harvey that screams FOOTBALLER! That same sort of feeling you get watching Redden. Shaw for mine just still looks like he gets smashed for agility and ground balls but he can certainly take a grab and took a nice pack buster in the last.
Colquhoun racked em up, Hitchy dangerous, Neade, Ahchee, Mitchell, Amon felt quiet to me.

In broader terms for the maggies they dominated that game. All the panthers goals came on the counter so good signs for the year. Get our efficiency going forward better with the inclusion of a few more quality players and we'll be hard to stop.

Now to watch the big boys. Expecting a 10 goal win or around that mark today. Need to really smash an undermanned team and one that should be bottom 2 if not only bottom 4 this year. If we are going to be as good as we hope.

Biemans is a big boy, thought he looked like a real hard man. He just had that i want to hurt people glint in his eye. Think Shaw ended with 3 too, i feel like i may expect more from him but not getting it just yet. However obviously as a 2nd year player he has a lot of time left.

Awesome. I'm very interested in how my buddies Sam Gray and Russell went. They have had a restricted pre-season with injury. Also, does Haren have any AFL potential?

Haren is tall enough and his mobility and speed don't look to bad, played CHB today, watch his progress throughout the year.

Russell impressive, happy to have him over anyone we 'should' have taken instead!
