No. Quantity isn't our focus anymore: we already did that in 2012 with the pick 12 & 13 trades and to a lesser extent last year with trades for players. We will only trade down with GWS if we get their 1st in the deal and are sure of getting McCartin with that pick.
you are splitting pick 1 for a former pick 2 and 12 + pick 20 in this years draft.
Maybe if GWS get a lower first round pick they could swap those two players plus that 1st round pick for the first. I dont think you guys are over the quantity bump.
Depends though. If Carlton have conclusively said he'll be traded then have lost a fair bit of leverage. Clubs will know they only have to wait until the end of the trade period and he'll eventually be delisted.
That said when he's floated all trade period and no one gives anything for him I can see Mick and the blues saying he was only up for trade and now we are stuck with him we've offered him a one year deal.
I think he will stay on a junk contract.
