So now Gorringe has asked for a trade to Port as well.

What the f...k is going on with this club. Players are nominating and deals commencing and all roads lead to Port.

What the f... Are we doing - no coach, no list manager - FFS

F....g rabble and players know it, avoiding us like the f...g plague.

I recall just 2 years ago, everyone was avoiding the power.

We aren't in an ideal situation, but it could turn around pretty quickly.

It's not even draft week yet. These upstarts nominating clubs is annoying (DG, Liam Jones).

Which SANFL club did Liam Jones nominate?

Really bad sign for us that Gorringe nominates Port straight up. In most circumstances a savvy manager would play us off against each other - particularly if their ruck chart is already Lobbe, Ryder and presumably Redden.

We need this coach shit sorted, whether it be Tudor, Bassett, Dew, Bolton or Ratten.

Players nominate when they have already reached an agreement with the destination club.

30 minutes ago nobody ****ing wanted Gorringe, now we want him to have nominated us?

For all you know, he's nominated Port because we've told him we're not interested.

Just checked on Liam Jones - wants to go to Carlton... smh

His manager says so he can play as the second forward.

Shhhhh, no one tell him that Waite's gone.

What I think this board is like at the moment (but probably not as adorable)

Triggy obviously forgot to inform Jarrad they're bringing back Visy deals.

I think Mick plans to play Garlett out of the goal square?

Is he that desperate to play in the SANFL? I guess that's one way to win a token premiership.

That's what Toumpas told me.

it looks that way. Going its trade week without a coach is one of the dumbest things we have done in recent times. I said last week that if we don't secure a coach before trade week we will be considered a basket case and I got howled down. What do you all think now?

I think all this drama queen overreaction and hyperbole is the exact reason that our club has always chosen the safe option and has been reluctant to make bold calls and take risks.

FFS, halfway through this year we had a dead-end CEO and a coach going nowhere and FINALLY we've shown some balls and taken the first steps to right the ship and everyone is going ****ing Lindy.

We've started to climb out of the huge hole we dug ourselves into, jump on and enjoy the ride.

you totally miss the point. This is not about gorringe. Its about the fact that players aren't considering us. Unless we are about to announce a coach soon we have literally shot ourselves in the foot.

If we told him weren't not interested.. we're idiots. Clearly need developing rucks.
(and don't make the mistake of saying a few people said something means we all think the same thing.)

OMG that's so depressing.

hmmmmm.....Which club would you pick if you were a player?
One that can maybe challenge for the premiership next year or one that didnt even make the finals.

not knocking the decision and I agree that it showed some balls and needed to happen. I am simply saying that if we don't announce the coach before trade week it will be incredibly stupid timing. I can't understand how you could argue otherwise.
