no he shouldn't. what is the matter with you?

i don't understand the line of thought of "he was asked a direct question and answered it, what did you want him to say?" go watch a bill belichick press conference ffs

This guy is a wet noodle you would never want to hear an interview with because he isn't going to say anything of note. NMFC has an open media policy, which means they want the media to talk to our coach and to our players, in response we have to talk back to them otherwise they wont bother talking to us. This is important if we are going to grow our supporter base, something we are well behind in and need to go the extra mile to try and fast track our growth.

Is this Grima's megathread or Kayne's?

Anyway, has he (Grima) signed a new contract? According to Daz's contracts thread his existing one finishes this year. The rest of the 2014 contracts are pretty obvious delistees, plus Spud (who I assume is a year-to-year proposition) and Levi (hopefully announced at the BnF), but I don't recall hearing much about Narni.

"I get a bit nervous if I say my body's feeling good because I'm shopping in Myer at the minute and I'll probably trip over a coat-hanger or something.

Funniest bloke in the AFL.

"And with Jarrad being 31, I all of a sudden feel young at 29, so that's a good thing as well."

:D

Will kill it in the media when he retires, hope we keep him around in some capacity.

Really hope he reaches the ton next year, reading how much it means to him it would be awesome if he can play the games required to reach it. Good clubman would of been an easy decision to keep him on.
We need to get as many guys up to 100 games as possible so we don't miss any more father/sons.

#17 Nathan Grima

Games: 14
Goals: 0

Summary:
After playing 17 games in 2013, the equal-highest amount he has managed in six seasons on the North Melbourne list, Grima again had an injury-prone year in 2014, missing 11 games. He started the season fit and healthy, averaging 21 possessions between rounds 3 and 7. However, soreness developed in Grima's foot, and led to an extended stint on the sidelines.

He was introduced back into the team in Round 20 against Greater Western Sydney, coinciding with North's six game winning streak. Grima was a solid performer in the Elimination Final against Essendon, taking 10 marks while collecting 19 touches. A week later, Grima struggled with Tom Hawkins getting the better of him.

However, it is no coincidence North's fortunes improved dramatically with him in the side. With a timely spoil or an intercept mark, Grima straightens the North Melbourne team out, and is a popular clubman to boot. With a contract extension for next year, he needs 14 games to reach the 100 game milestone. If any player on the list deserves their name on a locker, it is 'Narni'.

In year seven at Arden Street, Nathan Grima started 2014 fit and firing in the senior side.

North fans know Nathan Grima as a tough defender and Brad Scott has often said the Roos are ‘a better side with Grima in the team’.

Not that it will shock anyone...
But heard from a mate at a pub tonight that it's definatley his last year.
Body can't handle it.

Will be nice for him & Petrie to finish with a flag in da bag.

Yep, no real surprise. Hopefully Tippett can step up and fill the hole
