Have I just had too good a New Years. But does a fully fit Judd Murphy Gibbs and possibly Daisy Tex Yazz and Menz going through our midfield have any exciting look to it for 2015.

Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Yeah it will be very exciting, no doubt. Still a ways to go before Menz breaks into the midfield and also before the whole best 22 (and depth) are all individually and collectively good enough to feel like we are a shot at something special.

Its the time of Free Agency - trading for Treloar is too hard when you get a chance at Dangerfield.
Onviously if all Treloar cost us was a First Round and a secondary player you'd take it. But Treloar is a gun - arguably a better prospect than Dangerfield as he is almost as good as Dangers all ready and is still improving. But thats not going to happen so we have to embrace free agency
If the price is right go for it, but dont cripple our salary to do it.
Focus on drafting well and trade fringe players for pick upgrades into the top 30 or 20 and we will keep constructing the list.
Problem is Danger is his RFA status, so Adelaide can (and would likely) match most offers put from poaching clubs. Farm like offer will be required for his defection.Yep happy to go hard at Danger or GWS/GC young gun but no selling the farm style trades.

Because it's his hometown more or less. Geelong aren't in the box seat, Adelaide are. But if there was a second box seat, Geelong would be sitting on it.Cap space wise we would be paying 200-400k more to get Danger then any other GWS/GC young gun. That I can live with if we're in the right position by the end 2015. Cats supporters think they have the inside track and they might but why swap Adelaide for Geelong one small town for another. I think Danger will go were the money is right.

Geelong arent exactlty a young team and i am not sure they are a developing team anymore.
In fact, I am not sure how they will go next year.
I am calling it now, for Geelong 2015 will be 2015AS (after success). Years for Geelong will now run like this. Any years before 2007 will be BS (before success) and the years in between the successful ones!![]()
I don't think Menz ever will be a midfielder.
HFF/FP type player imo
Kids got pace too.....could help us with some more outside run - have 2 rotating mids in the forward line.He was a midfielder/forward in his junior days. Started playing more forward after the LARS but can play midfield. Check out the BF Phantom Draft of the day that speak of him being more of a midfielder than Daniel.
Troy wants to get into the midfield and Carlton want him there ...

He's got so much talent, I'm not sure he would be a bust in the middle.

Pace, vision and good hands.
All I know is that I want the ball in his hands more than 8-10 times per game. He also has a competitive spirit like Wingard. Not daunted by being a young guy in a more experienced team. Has voice and is confident in his ability.
At least in the midfield he can get back to help out in defence here and there. The more class getting back to help out the better.
