Not a legal stream and should have been picked up and deleted at the time.

As far as I'm aware there's no legal stream of this arvo's game, you're expected to watch Fox Footy.

Just checked the AFL Live app and it appears to be streamed through that.

No such thing as favourites in preseason matches.

There's half a dozen betting companies that would disagree :D

Sportsbet had us $1.85 to Freo $1.95 last I checked. I thought we'd be underdogs.

My mates always bet on preseason matches, I think they are insane for it tbh.

Because more often than not your mob smashes us in these games.
Sigh, once upon a time that phrase meant something very different to what it does now.

Are these rumours about Brown not playing true?

From the 27 man squad 2 played WAFL so there still is one player to cut from the team. I hope it is Pat Mcshitity.

It will be interesting to see what we do come draft time this year. Do we keep going hard for mids or do we refresh our tall stocks? We probably need one more KPD and one more ruck on the list.

I can imagine our cull being quite severe again this year with the likes of:

McGinnity
Butler
Tunbridge
Karpany
Main
Colledge
Waters (retire)
McInnes
Hill

Lucas (rookie)

All on shaky ground. Highly unlikely we will delist all but each player needs to show improvement in order to retain a spot on the list in 2016.

They're all dead wood really aren't they..

They hardly count as depth because they couldn't perform a role if they came into the team. Maybe Hill, Butler, but that's about it. The others would want to start improving.

Colledge contracted for 2016. Karpany would have to really struggle in 2015 to be axed. Agree with the rest.

I think Tunbridge is starting to show a bit. A great kick if he can get hold of the ball and a good size. This year is important for him. Hope he gets a run at it without injury. I also think McInnes needs a go at the next level before discarding. He has shown a bit this pre-season with limited opportunities. Came on yesterday and made a difference with his big body.

We axed Carter after his first contract and so I figure if Karpany doesn't improve (but to be fair he probably will) he will face a similar fate. Didn't realise about Colledge.

I really like the way he moves, especially running with the ball. From that point of view it looks like he could be a player. I just wish he could football better

they are not comparable at all to be honest.

Carter was ok, but his level wasn't difficult to identify. much like dalziell was ok, but it was the right decision to cut the dead wood. Also carter was small without speed but had good a physique for afl level, the upside was clearly limited.

Karps is all about upside, he might play some shit games, but he has more scope to improve also. Happy to be patient with him. From reports he can be dynamite in traffic, but is clearly lacking confidence.

Yeah I agree, but that improvement still has to come before he is safe, and it probably will. I'd tip him to get a one year extension.

Exactly the same players I have on my list of potential delistees/forced retirements. Hoped that Fmac in particular could eventually earn a call-up, but not so sure now with him being designated as ruckman at AFL level despite the injuries to the KPP's, hope that he can score a lot more goals in the WAFL and give the selectors something to think about. Being in only his second year, Karps should get another season to prove himself, but the others a fair game.

I've only watched a solid hour of our pre-season this year.
In short, we're ****ed.

Tall forward lines are going to destroy us.
Midfield will work better and we'll do alright/good on the offence, but we're going to get creamed defencively unless we can gather and maintain possesion across the halfback line, which I highly doubt we have the experience to cover.

I think that Sinclair should be trailed in defence . Tall , athletic , can cover the ground well !
We have enough tall forward depth in lamb McInnes and tunners .
