I have heard there is a player that has been not very happy with not being given any games or even any likelihood of getting on and is unhappy with the way he is being managed. It seems Richo is making a few guys pissed off. If we give them something and they waste it fine but at least explain it to them.

No I promised not to tell, it was another poster who PMed me about a relative who is on the fringe. Lee actually said to me he feels like a whipping boy as he is the first to drop off the order when the team doesn't perform. He actually sounded really positive and wasn't whinging at the time (before the season started). I imagine that's compounding now he's getting some form up and still can't crack into the team. It must be very frustrating waiting for a spot just to get a foot in the door. Some of the guys recruited before Richo seem to have been stamped by him though I feel. Sips, Lee, Spencer, Markworth, Curren, Saunders, Head etc must all find it hard to motivate themselves when they can't get a go before guys who are first or second year despite having decent form.

Really is rated very high internally it seems. Which makes me very confident he'll be a great player for us.

Putting two and two together, it's the club that will force Spencer out. I don't buy coach PR talk, it means very little and differs greatly to whats discussed in the inner sanctum.

I hear ya and I've thought the same thing. Some players are given less opportunity, Richo certainly has his favourites.

Yeah, Lenny Hayes mentioned him at every opportunity as the guy who would get his spot. That's a pretty good referee IMO. He was starting to show plenty preseason and has been on an upward trajectory since he was drafted.

We have about 12-13 players out of contract this year, so its not like White is only one of few out of contract (assuming his gone). We picked him at #26 in the draft. I can't how we could draft someone highly and then develop him for a few years then delist him.

Some of the Future Fest kids only got 1 year, plus Simpkin and Roberton I think had 2yr deals from the prior season, Gilbert I think is up. Not sure on situation for Schneider and Saad, if they get treated different to genuine rookies.

If we get a priority pick, and Adelaide get a compensation pick (for Danger) - we could potentially have pick one and two. Adelaide, potentially pick 9 & 10.

How about Rory and pick 10 for pick 2?

We'd keep pick one for a Darcy and gain Sloane, and potentially even someone like Balic or Mathieson. Furthermore, if we had cash to splash, why don't we put our hat in the ring for Danger? I know it's likely he will be at Geelong but we have a number of Geelong boys on our list now.

Pick 10 in return is a cheeky ask for Sloane, but it's a hell of a lot better than the PSD option. Pick 9 would be sent to Brissie for Aish, pick two on a gun mid. Not ideal for Crows but two gun mids is better than nothing.
