Dragons FFC vs. Baghdad Bandits

The Dragons should be flying high in 2nd spot with an sneaky eye on top spot if it wasnt for some poor leadership at the top. Its been well documented that the Dragons leaders have dropped the ball on many occasions (ok so two but thats many yeah?) and have gone a ways to proving that too many cooks do infact spoil the broth.

The Bandits on the other hand have had a shitful season lets be honest. Hanging on by the skin of Shermy nutsack this simply is an elimination final for the Bandits.

Im tipping if the Dragons name a team in time they will win by 24 points finishing the Bandits season early. If they dont name a team in time i still reckon they will win most probably by 36 points and still lock in a top 4 spot.................somehow.

He doesnt want to be all me me me and would rather see his club punished for their lack of communication.

I find it hilarious how you can bag the Dragons captain's, let alone any captain. You were the worst captain the league has ever seen. I won't reiterate what boncer has already said about your poor decision in regards to the Bandits name. Did you or did you not leave mid season when you were captain and leave Shermy in a hole. Lucky he is and will always be a far better captain than you and is slowly, but surely dragging this sad excuse for a club off of the ground. Poor leadership if you ask me.

Oh gosh here we go. Not even second page and you're pulling out the paragraph shotgun to try and overwhelm us with your ego. Lets have a look here.

I dont need your: Respect, apologies, admiration or anything else you're offering. Unless you are offering my Tic Tacs. Love me some Tic Tacs. As for the team thread, you know what you did and why I told you to mind your own business. You seem to have some vendetta against me. Did we have some conflict in a previous life? Did I still yo girl? Did I sully your reputation in a gang? Did I finish first in a race you came third? Who knows.

Whatever it was fuels this obsession you have with trying to trigger me, everywhere on the board. Game threads, team threads, stats threads, media threads. I can always count on you to remind me that im all about that bass myself, Im no longer nor was I ever captain and how easily I melt. Seriously, I dont even need to think for myself, I can count on your punctuality to the self righteous cause you've put on yourself. Maybe you're upset I didnt beg to join the nWo with the other 4* elite posters that jumped on board.

As far as the name, and me handing over the captaincy (Mid season is Round 4 of a 15 round season now) we made a TEAM DECISION last season to change. I was the one that suggested the change, not the name, the colour or the timing. I merely pointed out that 90% of the time we tried to recruit posters we were rebutted with the "But you're Essendon themed/coloured, I dont like that.". To us internally we could see the issue. Since you were not at our club, you could not. Pretty simple. As for me handing Shermy the captaincy, its ironic really, as Gee Dub tried to do the old "make a feud" trick by giving it to Shermy when he bailed. In hindsight, I should have refused the position when Shermy handed it to me then, but I didnt.

Onto the point of WHY I handed over the captaincy, and this is something thats come up in most match threads so dont think of yourself a special snowflake for doing it now, I had IRL issues at the time. I was under stress outside the league and my time in the league reached a point where I was a 50/50 chance of removing myself completely. Why? I dont need to explain myself to you or anyone really, but here I am, telling you that I did what was best for the club: Giving the position to someone who COULD put the time into it and WASNT (As far as I know) at risk of quitting the SFA entirely.

As for our results this season, yeah, we havnt done as well as we'd like. Duh. Thats like calling a car a mode of transport: Its damn obvious. But at the end of the day we had fun this season, we got some gun new recruits in Red mist, cammo6556, Aussie Assault, van peebles and more, which is a 100% improvement on our recruitment since Season 16. I even made a thread about it, remember? It must have made you blow your load when you read it, to see me proving I was the possible cause of our failure to retain/secure members.

So ill stop here because you probably stopped reading about 4 paragraphs before and decided you won this little to and fro because "lol, u responded, melt more beng, worst captain eva" which is what I expect of you. Jump ship after one season from a club that made you what you are just to join the Dragons. Talk about wearing your Campaigner badge with pride.
