When push comes to shove - I bet he goes to a big Victorian club as a B level rookie.

Until he is on our list, I won't care.

I doubt it. He's settling in Adelaide for one last crack at cricket. Surely won't want to move again hence sticking in the same town if he transitions to footy. He's invested so much time into cricket I can understand why he wants another crack at it.

But realistically he'll know by mid season from grade/state cricket form whether he's going to make it. Wouldn't be surprised to see him pull up stumps mid season and do a full year with us.

He's a year or so away anyway given his body shape. Will need time to bulk up and acclimatise so even if he signed now, I doubt he's an immediate prospect next year. Suspect he does a 'very long' pre season instead all through next year.

Seen enough of him as a cricketer to be comfortable in saying he won't make the grade.

can you tell me more about his footy?

seems like there's far too much water left to go under the bridge for me to get excited just yet, but I'll back your ability to judge talent, why is this guy exciting for us?

Soft spot for Brisbane
Gee - I would have thought this would have got a more positive response.

Was so good as a junior, GCS put him on their list even after he had chosen to play cricket instead.

Can seriously play. Surely could be on our list by next year? When is the latest you can list a category B? Give it a go this summer then make a decision.

He obviously has no issues committing to top level sport. He just chose the wrong sport.

- provided he doesn't make the grade in cricket. which I doubt he will.

This is seriously fantastic news.

Mmmmm.......so this guy wants a bit each way

Passion is Cricket ......AFL a distant fallback position ....and going to start at 25 ?

Well in all my time, anyone without the passion for AFL DOES NOT MAKE IT ........this guy is fooling himself and it's a joke that he thinks he can do it, when for tall guys it is just so difficult !!!!!!!!!!!

Fool!
