Aside from the Tigers, what other teams are asking about Yarran? i know that if he goes (unless he asks for a certain club) it would be first come, best dressed. Most people here seem to not like the offer most Tigers think he is worth, so is it the "best offer" going atm or are there others that aren't widely known?

Thought we could share some common ground over this. Apparently not.

That is interesting, I hadn't heard about that.

Could that impact Yarrans decision process? With family troubles back home, could it make him maybe prefer a move west?

And I never thought of that.
That's another factor in the mix.

I get the feeling Yarran wants to disassociate himself from all the troubles back home. He had some trouble himself back in WA IIRC.

The vibe I get from Tigerland is that he is not happy at Carlton, which is why he is not playing to his best.
We know he has destroyed us off his own boot.
We think he would be a good fit with our team.
We need a guy like him.
We think he would be happy at our club.

Maybe Chris just needs time away from everything associated with football for a little while until he makes up his mind where he wants to be. No news is good news as they say.

I would suggest that any move this year would be based on an offer that Carlton can not refuse, otherwise he is a required player.

This is the misunderstanding.
It would appear that external issues are having an influence over his on field demeanor.
A change of Coach, time to reflect etc can change that very quickly if he chooses.

Our mob reckon all that could change for his betterment if he came to Tigerland. Just saying.

The best place to go, for Yarrans benefit, would be Adelaide.

They have a great support network for indigenous players. Eddie Betts is there, and Andrew McLeod is great for indigenous players joining the club. The Crows would be the perfect spot for both Yarran and even Bennell to turn there careers around.

Your mob maybe right, a change of scenery maybe the panacea Chris needs. However, they keep overlooking one simple fact.
He is a contracted Carlton player who will not be given away.

Business can always be transacted.
