Wouldn't necessarily consider that to be correct. There's so much that happens in such a short space of time that what is often conveyed is truly just old news. If you follow the NBA or other American sports a lot of legitimate key insiders often report and then within hours or a day report that 'talks have died.' It doesn't mean that talks never took place but rather that they're truly dead or that they reported what was in play after the fact.

Think Hendo would be handy at Dogs, *, Norths, Saints, GWS, etc. etc. If Cats won't trade I am sure someone will.

Bad recruiting it lead by bad leadership and administration...Racking up 30+ possession in the U18s championships doesnt necessary mean you will be a gun player. This is why SOS in back on board to filter the good from the bad...

Henderson has badly mismanaged himself and lowered his own value to Carlton and himself. Smart Clubs don't particularly need to pay premium for sooky sooks who have done the wrong thing by previous Clubs - because if nothing else- they actually arrive giving bad signals to their new team mates. No one likes a weak personality.

Yarran can turn himself around if the Club could be bothered - but again, Clubs these days are much smarter about protecting culture so Carlton won't be giving him away push comes to shove I don't think.
 
I will be disappointed if the club won't match anything for Kreuzer below tier 1 compo territory. I will be disappointed if the club allow Yarran's attitude to dictate him walking out the door for only a second round pick when he is under contract.

I am prepared for Henderson to get pushed into the PSD if Geelong think a pick in the late 20s is getting the job done.

Time to make a stand against conditional footballers (Kreuzer not in that obviously). Take a loss to let others know they will not get to their destination easily if they take a pay cheque off us under false pretences.

He doesn't come back here.

If he delists himself we get a compo pick. Hell if he and Kreuze both walk via FA, then we are guaranteed the top pick.

Geelong will trade, they just don't think 9 is fair. They'll offer us some larger package all up. Maybe this year and next 2nd picks. Which might be enough

deal will get done, particularly if Adelaide don't match Dangerfield offer.
may end up being next years first rounder.

Something like Hendo & 22 for next years first and 28.

Cats back themselves to shoot back up the ladder, pick up Hendo and 22 now.

If I was Geelong, I wouldn't give up their first rounder for Hendo either, he is out of contract, they have us by the short and curlys.

It most likely will be Josh Walker and a 2nd rounder for Hendo. Not much we can do about that unfortunately.

No, we get no compo for Henderson. He is not a free agent in that way.

If we choose to offer him a contract and he walks anyway, he goes to the PSD. If we don't offer him a contract, he becomes a delisted free agent, walks to the club of his choice and we get nothing.

That's what several media reports are saying (Carlton keen on Josh Walker)

Makes sense knowing we won't get Geelong's 1st rounder
