I don't care what anyone says, Adelaide didn't win, we lost it for ourselves. Yeah grant did some nice efforts but he blew those set shots. Crameri is the same.

I thought they were going to over run us a couple times and with more poise and experience we win that game easy.

im quite embarrassed by our crowd. we were like mutes out there. i was screaming my farking head off while fellow dogs supporters looking at me like i was an idiot, .then u have adelaide supporters going off their nut. god, was that our home game or theres?

yep I agree, where were you sitting? I was in M31,level 1 and trying my best to get the crowd revved up but to no avail. Get up off your seats! We were louder at many home games this season. Maybe that's because a lot of bandwagoners jumped on tonight or perhaps it was nerves but we were very quiet. It may have cost us the game. Who knows?

Next year will be massive. Let's aim for 45,000 members. Let's see the AFL give us a couple of Friday night games and a few MCG games. It'll be one hell of a year in 2016. Bring it on!

Losing a final is never going to fell good. But as a fan of the game that will go down as one of the best games of football I've ever seen. What a pleasure to support a team involved in that.

reckon stewie was badly injured as he was just turning and kicking off a step. No run.

Stringer was well held but went off limping early to get his ankle strapped, may have been a hamstring too. A fit Stringer and Crameri and we win. Mind you, Adelaide were carrying injured players too.

Whoever played on Jenkins did a great job, he did nothing. Roberts hasn't been the same after he came back from injury, so not sure he has been 100%! For a while. Not sure Talia or Rough would have done any better against Tex. Hawks have a real problem if Frawley or Lake try to play on him next week.

Minson simply doesn't work in our gameplan. He tries hard but he always moves the ball sideways or backwards and has no vision. We need a ruck with flair.

I had my doubt over Jong, but he was immense tonight. Embraced the finals atmosphere. Play like that and he is in our best 22.

Can't get the play in the last 2 mins out of my head. Who hand balled to Crams? We should have walked that goal in.

It's too late for some, but before people say some things they might regret in a fit of post close finals loss anger, (which is fair enough to have), it should be remembered just how far we've come.

Yes, we blew this game on the back of poor kicking. That sucks. We could have won but didn't. That sucks.

Just take a step back and appreciate how far we've come. In one offseason, after losing Griff to GWS and Libba to an ACL, we got a new coach come in with a bloody great game plan- and the players bought into it instantly. Without Libba. Also pays to remember that Tom Boyd is just a couple of preseasons away from being a force, once he gets fitter and stronger.

You can be upset that we let this one go. But the other team did have some things we don't: Strength, maturity, marking ability. We will got those in time. We'll also get Libba in time. You know, just one of the best mids in the entire comp.

So don't be too upset. Every team needs a stepping stone before true contention, with some rare exceptions. This was ours.

Thanks to Bevo, thanks to PG, thanks to all of the young players who stepped up this season. We had no damn right finishing outside the bottom 4 coming into the season let alone almost making a semi final.

Fear not. It's onward and upwards from here.
