Every team has band wagon supporters, but obviously you will hear more from supporters when their team is going well, it's no different for any team, and when freo inevitably fall into a hole, many of your supporters will go quiet too. The Crows will push the Hawks for at least two quarters before getting tired and the Hawks running away with it. The Hawks will then have to come back to Subi and beat us, which will take a big effort. As for the Swans, what is immediately noticeable about the game, is the level of intensity with which they played. Most of their team played out of their socks and still couldn't get the job done. Now, if the Hawks had played with a bit more ticker then the result would have been a lot more closer.

The Dockers were mediocre and the Swans were very good: Dockers Win

The Eagles play North or the Swans, and both of these games will be very close.

How is it delusional to suggest? Sydney have had the wood over West Coast for years now. The fact is, we don't know what would have happened if WC had played Sydney this weekend. If they end up in the prelim, who knows what will happen?

I bet you think WC are a shoe-in for the GF. Am I allowed to call that delusional? Your fans are getting way ahead of themselves, but they think because they won "prettier" it's ok to.

I have no idea why you feel the need to jump onto our board to tell us what we are all well aware of. It would be like me jumping onto the West Coast board and telling you that during the 2000s your club turned a blind eye to the actions of your star players and allowed a drug culture (and worse) to flourish. Or perhaps jumping onto the Richmond board now and telling them that they just lost an elimination final for the 3rd year in a row! Completely unnecessary and adds nothing.

As you are well aware our club hasn't had a great deal of success in our history, and some of us are still trying to enjoying being in a preliminary final.

Actually, no. We've never had premiership success, but instead of support waning, it's grown based on no flag to stand on. You with you 3 flags have w***ers jumping off and on at will and crawling under rocks during periods of drought.

I'm no WC hater, infact I've been enjoying watching their run & gun this year.

HOWEVER, there can be no shadow of doubt whatsoever that the Hawthorn that played last Friday were nowhere near the typical Hawthorn. Perhaps a little of that can be attributed to WC pressure and finals nerves but Hawthorne were missing targets under no pressure even when momentum was with them. Their efficiency inside 50 was woeful, the dropped marks astounding.

I can understand how it would be hard for WC fans too see/believe this fact (and one/some of ours) as they were the ones enjoying the spectacle with rose coloured glasses on. TBH I think a lot of us would think the same (myself included) if we had come up against the same Hawthorne. All in all I think the WC win was not as ground breaking as a lot of media types are making out.

Anyway... I would like to think that some of the reason for Hawthorne form was that they didn't travel so well. When/if we meet them again it will be after a bruising Crows game and another trip West.

I am undecided on our own game vs Swans, still digesting that one but one thing is for sure, we are in this up to our eyeballs.

I agree with a lot of your points.
Like you I am still digesting the win....We showed some great ability to withstand pressure, especially in the 3rd....A lesser team may have capitulated. This makes me feel positive. We need a great start like we have shown we are capable of, then let them come at us!
Ballas and Son-Son showed that they can do finals...This may well be made easier if Tabs is included to get the ball on the ground more.
