Doubt we'd get anything for him anyway. Game has well and truly gone past him.So Kreuzer is staying, can we now flog Warnock?

Would much prefer Kreuzer in Navy Blue. We all know what he can do when fit.Yep. Damn you Kreuzer.

Yea I just put the essentials in......the coaches, game plan, fitness levels, sponsorship, board, finances, membership department will all work itself out in due course..........[emoji4][emoji15]Finally, AB. Our off-season manifesto for 2016.![]()
Still $500 per year is a bit harsh. Will be sleeping on a bench and eating noodles all week long.
Good grief what year are we in and who is our current ruckman? I feel like when I come on to this board I have stepped back two to three years with all the talk about past players.
So is Kreuzer staying or going? Going by the papers today Collingwood have pulled out of the race is this still relevant?
Well it looks as though Kreuzer will be forced to stay at Carlton as other clubs are baulking at him allegedly because of the outcome of medical examinations. I think the lad has learnt a valuable lesson about the brutality of the football world. I hope it has filled his stomach with a resolve to stick it up the clubs that have turned their backs on him. I really hope so.
Short memory, we didn't "get rid of" Grigg, he requested a trade when his contract ran out.Positives
Warnock showed a lot in the ruck.
Grigg had another solid game.
When did we get rid of Grigg? End of 2010 season and we traded a 22 y.o with 43 games experience for a dud who was delisted in 2012 and then taken as a rookie and then delisted again. Our club seems to be infatuated with investing time on players who will not make it. Warnock is a case in point.
missing the point though. Kruezer dominating the ruck while we are getting beat by 10-15 goals aint really going to warm my heart. Much rather see an 18 year old kid develop during these inevitable thumpings over the next 2-3 years.Short memory, we didn't "get rid of" Grigg, he requested a trade when his contract ran out.
And good news about Kreuzer. I can't wait to see him next year. I'd rather have a big bloke that is all heart and soul on the field instead of taking a punt on a big forward that has only destroyed skinny little kids.

Unless we consider Kruezer will be up and flying in 4 years time when we will be relevant again (no chance)
I'd be content with a 2nd rounder pick 20 for kruezer to be honest

The Age suggested he was offered a 3 year contract(originally 2 years) of about $1 million in total. So that would be around $330,000 per year but will increase the more games he plays, so around the $525,000 per year. That is good for both Matty and the club. He would be on the veterans list for the 3rd year so not all of it would be in the salary cap.Kreuzer allegedly has failed Medicare at two other clubs... And so we're happy to pay a lot of money over the next few years for a player with such high risk physically.... Right now my offer to Kreuzer would be 1 year 400k with a 2 year extension trigger then with more $ depending on how his body holds up next season.
You have to be over 30 and 10+ years at 1 club for veterans list. The Age suggested he was offered a 3 year contract(originally 2 years) of about $1 million in total. Pretty sure that it was changed to 10 years and $112,000 excluded from the cap.You have to be over 30 and 10+ years at 1 club for veterans list.
