Seems a rather.. poorly thought out plan to "trade out of the strong part of the draft and receive a pick back in the weak part for a player you could likely get for a later pick anyway".

So, so much this!

Trading pick 5 ought to be a last resort, IMO, unless we really think we'd be able to get someone we rate almost that highly with the pick we get along with Carlisle (if we get him).

Correct - top 25 are pretty good and it drops away after that hence why IMO we're looking to trade and use the Sinclair upgrade as one of our mandatory 3 picks....
