I think that side as they were would be down the bottom of the ladder in today's landscape. The amount of changes in the game in the 5 years make me believe that the current side would win quite easily.

Interesting take. The 2010 team played with an intensity and cohesion that the current side cannot yet reach. On talent I reckon the sides are pretty equal.

2010 team would win, vastly more experience team. though not as much as people think on the score board

I dropped tooves, the kids win.

I'd actually say there would be 10-12 sides now that could beat that team. As they were, fitness, game plan, the works. The game has seriously evolved a massive amount in the last five years.

Both are bad kicking sides.So the 2010 side would win 10 21 81 to the 2016 side 6 17 53.

That first quarter against Geelong in the 2010 preliminary, the disposal was amazing.

2010 side would maul the 2016 version.

On another note, Ben Reid used to move very nicely for a man he's size. Certainly didn't move like that when he came back late last year. He's one I'm sort of worried about.

I reckon it will be close, midfield is just about even.

Our forward line right now has more fire-power IMO.

But I think the run from half back from the 2010 ten side would comfortably put them on top.

On top of that I think the 2010 side would exploit are out the back weakness fair easy.

Jolly in the ruck would probably give Grundy a bit of a lesson too.

True but Grundy is better when the ball hits the deck. On a good day he could hold his own. Jolly pushing forward on Grundy is what I'd be more worried about.

Me too. Jolly was a beast in 2010.
