Time is right for him to go. Early enough in the season and too good to not be 8th seed at least in the East conference. Beal isn't due back until around/after Christmas.

Reckon Wittman goes last season if not for our playoff run.

Need a coach who is better at creating plays for Beal.

Feel like we just don't have enough good players to make a real run this season. 10-14 now.

Unsure if we've got any chips to really trade to improve either.

Looking forward to FA this season, even if we don't get KD (Don't think we will), hopefully we can land a couple of good players.

Dear God, these jerseys look awful. Oubre starting tonight in place of Porter.

A few players we could look at is possibly Stephenson, Josh Smith from LA Clippers. Both aren't getting gametime and with Crawford/Pierce must be frustrating at least. We tend to do well with these types- Ariza a few years back and of course Piece himself last season.
Seems like the managment are hedging it's bets big time on KD free agency next season. If it doesn't happen, heads will roll.

Sleeved jerseys are never a good idea. Don't get why Adidas continues to make them. But the debate of Bullets vs Wizards is back again. To be honest prefer Wizards- actually don't mind it.
What about Wall today, beast mode! Yet another double/double - 27Pts/12 Assists. Very worrying about the injury crisis though. Porter/Beal/Nene/Anderson out really testing the depth.

Great opportunity for Oubre and Temple. Temple gets career high. Dudley on the court for 41 mins, wow. Just keeps being impressive without blowing anyone away. Definitely seems to have found his shooting stroke after a sketchy first few games. Neal inaccurate today with is unlike him. I was worried in the first that Gortat might get frustrated like he did against the Spurs after missing so many shots early and be a liability but he bounced back strongly.

Decent first half, Gortat and Wall linking beautifully. Had 16 assists and 1 turnover until the commentators pointed that out, then they had 3 in a row.

Wall with 12 pts and 15 assists by end of the third! This guy does it all. Ended the third with a 8-0 run for the Kings though. Big last quarter coming up.

All round solid team performance. Temple finishes with 23 pts, and back-to-back 20 pts games for the first time in his career.
Gortat with a huge 27 pts/ 16 rebound game, only just edging out Wall with a ridiculous 12 pts and 19 assists! Not sure if he left early due to cramps, hopefully nothing serious.

Alright, kind of a over the top reaction there. My bad :p
Wall with yet another double/double- 14 pts, 14 assists. Has to be the player of the month by far. Temple with another solid 20 pts as well as Gortat dominance against one of the best centres in the game. 12 pts/12 rebounds. So the Wizards back to .500, three in a row. All without Nene, Beal, Porter and Anderson.
Have to say- do we play better with Wall being the sole focus of the team with a solid, reliable SG such as Temple or the Beal/Wall combination is even more important against top teams? Beal was averaging 20 pts before this injury but Wall was mostly struggling in October/November. Food for thought

well... 0.481 anyway. Unless you're counting the game against Brooklyn as a sure-fire win, which given our performance against the Lakers, I'm not.

Whoops now realized its 13-14 AFTER this game. But definitely not taking Brooklyn lightly.
Also read how John Wall is playing through multiple injuries- right ankle sprain, bruised knee and ribs! But obviously with the depleted roster, he has to play. Hoping Beal and Nene is at least back in a few days as well as Otto.

Nice little Xmas gift. 4 wins in a row to be back at .500 (14/14). Wall yet again another Double/double! 22pts/13 assists. Gortat also with another huge game - 25 pts and dominating Lopez in the paint. Most pleasing thing is the debut of Jarrell Eddie. Came off the bench and shot great for 12 pts (4/5 3pt made). Porter is also slowly coming back. Hopefully Beal/Nene in the next few days to help out Wall with his own injuries.

Marcin Gortat Eastern Conference Player of the Week!!
Surprised with that. Thought definitely Wall. But both have been huge in the 4 game streak.
Horrid first quarter today pretty much sealed the game for Clippers. Good to see Porter back. Wall now has 16 Double/Doubles and averages 9.7 assists a game, not bad considering the October/November stinker. The bench of LAC pretty much dominated ours. Reports are Beal could be back end of this week. Injuries slowly getting better day by day.

I suppose it came down to the fact that Wall's FG% had dropped the past week, whereas Gortat had some stellar games against big names like Cousins and Gasol.

Washington are Orlando's bogey team in recent years. 11 straight wins against the Magic.
Wall went off yet again, was on fire with a huge fourth quarter - 12 pts and 5 assists. Now his 11th game this season with at least 20+ pts and 10 assists! Flat out All Star.
Otto Porter and Gortat also had double/doubles. Otto is shooting with some form now, really helps the small ball gameplan.
Just need Beal back fit and go on a run, the four ofWall/Porter/Beal/Gortat can dominant many top teams.

Nice win today.

Bit nervy after the third but we closed well.

Next 3 are against Miami, Cleveland, Toronto. Not ideal.

Really need a run of games where we win like 7 from 10.

Hanging around that 500 mark without Beal has been encouraging.

Otto back in form helps.

One positive out of this run of being so short handed is the fact that we've seen Oubre, Sessions, Temple and Neal really produce.

Really excited about what Oubre could become.

But the good news is the next three are all at home. Will see where's the team is at. If we want to get back within the playoff mix, then have to beat these teams. Wall should fancy his chances against Dragic.
Love the fact that Oubre has taken the opportunity with some aggressive slams, exactly what he needs to do. Has a good technique for mid-range/perimeter shot too.

A horrid first half pretty much sealed the loss. 7 pts in the second quarter alone. Wall shot 6/21 today. Really need Beal back to take the pressure off Wall. Only positive is Gortat with the double/double, but today's game is better to be forgotten and move on.
