Crippa for the Brownlow, Cas for the Coleman, Boekey to silence the doubters and we have a year like the WB did last year...;)

Boek training very well.
One player i'm very keen on seeing through the preseason challenge.

Phillips and Kreuzer to dominate ruck contests against all Clubs in 2016.
Defense will be 10-15% better than 2015 as far as stats go and a lot classier with Weiterings kicking ability to draw plenty of attention from opposition and make room for the speedsters to break away...
Rebound from HBF will become a signature strength of Carlton - Byrne/Tuohey/Thomas/Weitering/Buckley/Sheehan all provide run and carry
Resting mids will be hard to match up against: Gibbs/Murphy/Cripps to kick 30+ goals each in 2016 as Bolton unleashes the old timers and the beast into forward pockets and HFF roles as a rotation /match-up strategy.
Casboult will be given a lot of space in forward 50 as Bolton insists that HBFers and FFers are made to run and run and run..each way - it will be a Levi paddock strategy.
Goal kicking accuracy will become a KPI at Carlton under Bolton - we will kick heaps from 40 meters out and more than a fair share from outside 50.

Is anyone really expecting him to play though?
Think he'll get a chance at some stage though.

I think it is important to give first years a chance... that way though know what to do to get ready.

getting rid of the sub rule might help young talls get games.

I'd expect Harry to play in the VFL development team most weeks, to be honest.

If Jamison, Rowe, Walker, White, Everitt, Phillips, Casboult and Kreuzer are playing seniors,
while Plowman, Weitering, Jaksch, Gorringe, Foster, Curnow, Jones, Wood are in the VFL,

then McKay, Silvagni and Korcheck will miss out.

By rough count we have 21 players on the list 190cm or taller (the 19 above plus Cripps and I forgot J McC)

Typically you'd play 8 or so. (Although with Patrick skewing the figures and Gorringe wanting to play on a wing, maybe 10.) Any more than that and you don't have enough run.

(Edit: Hawthorn had 9 in their premiership side)

So assuming no injuries, several each week will be playing VFL seconds - it just doesn't add up to stack your VFL side with 10 talls, particularly if the opposition are undersized.

So.... You're saying that krooz won't win the norm Smith?

Such a negative Nellie!

;)

In the unlikely scenario where we have no players injured, we'd be forced to play at least 2 players there.

I wouldn't want to be one of those players though.

Usually a bad sign when they get dropped there - unless they are coming back from serious injury....

Weitering and Ploughman settling down and to begin to solidify and strengthen our defense.
Providing creative re-bounding attack for our midfield.
