Fair enough man.

I'm going with Lids because of history & when he does play I want that scoring output in my team, not against me. If he does get injured, I'll trade him out or bench him.

I have Fyfe & Lids atm if there both fit then both are in my team no doubt.

At 600k it's not a no-brainer. Overpriced and Injured already, risk of missing games is high. Richmond have made it very clear that he will be managed. I won't be starting with him.

The other reason I will not be starting Deledio will be because his poor start to opening seasons. In the last 2 years he has missed 8 games in the opening 10 rounds of the season. (4 last year and 4 the year before). To think he only missed 5 last year and 4 the year before suggests that once he gets playing he is fine, set and forget. The issue is I do not want someone over 600k sitting on my bench for 2-3 weeks opening the season, maybe more given the last 2 years. Another reason is in the last 2 seasons he has played the opening game and THEN been out for those 4 weeks, 2014 he played the first 2 games. Last year he opened with 60 and 66 in his first 2 games, the year before 136 and 74. Another reason is because he finishes so well. The last 2 seasons he has finished with 5 and 7 100s in the last rounds respectively. I'm more than happy to sit and wait for him to drop him in price and bring him in later once he gets his body right. He isn't worth 112 but he is definitely worth 102-108 so I will spend 500-550k on him once he is playing come round 6-8. Start with him by all means bud. Just be prepared to cop some bench options early on.

Lids isn't fit though.

Upgrade target for me.

Just watched Buckley's press conference. Said De Goey will play mostly mid and some forward, I'm so confident in him. This years Bont/Cripps. 95+.

Total points is where it's at. It's all pretty and nice to have the highest average but if you play less games then it becomes irrelevant to a certain extent. Deledio may have averaged 112 last year but that was only in 17 games. He had a total of 1918 points last year. That averages out to 87 per game for 22 rounds. That is well below what you need for a top 6 forward. I'll be looking for a minimum of 20 games out of my starting forwards. At the moment it's Martin, Wingard, Barlow and Hall.
Take out his injury game round 1 and his first game back after injury and he averaged 119 and only missed one more game. If he was fit, He'd be a no brained..

Dusty the biggest lock up forward, he'll go 108+ this year ;)
After what he does to Carlton round 1, 2 things will happen
1 - The police will lock him up for raping the entire Carlton team
2 - Everyone who doesn't have him will be scrambling to get him in.

Is Ben kennedy worth a forward slot this year? 187 I don't know what his JS is like.
I'm thinking after yesterday's performance he looks like he should be in round 1. Will of course need to play well next 2 games. Scored 90 and think he could generate enough cash at his price.

My point exactly, if he is fit he is a no brainer, clearly he is not fit so I will not be starting with him, I'll most likely be using a mid pricer to score well early and straight swap them come round 6-8.

Any reason for the delidio drop?

Ah, no. That's my point. You said nothing about him being fit or unfit this year. Your basing your opinions on 2015.
