I would go Monty.Anyone have information about Montagna and Deledio? Are they both fully fit? If both line up for round 1, which one should I chose?
I have both though

I think Gunston will have a great start to the year...almost picked him. Then i caught myself and asked will he be a top 10 FWD by years End.Boring answer, but I rarely pick Hawks since buddy left and budget lost dpp, due to the shared workload amongst the team. Cyril is quite often an emotional choice of mine though, even though his hammys have burnt me many times. Youngsters I'm not sure if as I've been OS for 2 years and haven't kept up fully with draftees. FWIW I have none in my current team.
Who do they have to come back other that ablett/JOM? Bennel is gone and swallow is injured. I think there will be space for hall in their midfieldWhat happens when they get their A grade midfielders back in?

The biggest problem is that he's really inconsistent as a forward and not great defensively, which will inevitably get him on Eade's bad side again when he's not playing mostly in the midfield.Prestia as well.
4 of their best mids should be back by mid-season, but if he plays well early he might not be moved out, and of course there will be other injuries throughout the year, so it's not a terrible option.

Monty been training with defence apparently
Taking kick ins and being a qtr back type
Will this continue?
Will it make him easier or harder to tag?
I think I like the sound of that!
I didnt
My thoughts were
He'll end up being a chip kicker. Similar to Sam mitch. Lots of possessions but sc blah
Joey seagulling on a wing or half fwd kicking goals is pants enhancing
But if Mitchell had fwd or def DPP he'd be a dead set lock.I didnt

Gunston might struggle early with Roughead out mate.I think Gunston will have a great start to the year...almost picked him. Then i caught myself and asked will he be a top 10 FWD by years End.
I'm not so sure.

Can't see him playing 20 games.N Riewoldt could be a real smoky for top 6 forwards. If you take out the score when he got knocked out last year his average was 95. If he plays through the midfield he could avg 100+
Lonergan / MacPherson exciting me personally.Aaron Hall is firming for a spot in my team with the news Swallow is done for half the year.
It's good but hes nearly premo price ($70k less than Wingard)... I love taking risks though, and he could be big risk big reward.View attachment 220970
Hall's finish to the year in the midfield doesn't excite you!???

I'm risking Lonergan as it stands, when no one else seems to like him. That's the beauty.
