Apologies for being away for a while, I'm jam packed with school, I put this together tonight with the news that David Swallow was out for a majority of the year. Super high risk with super high reward.

DEF: Matthew Boyd, Rory Laird, Jimmy Bartel, Tom Sherridan, Jesse Lonergan, Mitch Brown, (Michael Hartley, Kieran Collins)
MID: Gary Ablett, Dan Hannebery, Tom Rockliff, Matt Crouch, Tom Libertore, Callum Mills, Jade Gresham, Sam Kerridge, (Ben Keays, Rhys Mathieson, Ryan Clarke)
RUCK: Todd Goldstein, Nic Naitanui, (Mason Cox)
FWD: Dustin Martin, Chad Wingard, Michael Barlow, Mitch Robinson, Wayne Milera, Connor Menadue, (Christian Petracca, Tom Phillips)
$4,000 left over
  • This is most likely too risky to start with as a whole with 4 mid priced options (Sherridan, Lonergan, Crouch and Libertore)
  • Plus side is if they all achieve premium status it means I start with 16 premiums.
  • Boyd becomes Whitecross and upgrades to Crouch becomes Pendlebury to achieve a bit more security to the side if that becomes the case
  • I know I've been against Gawn but if he puts up 2 more games like the one on the weekend he becomes a must have.

Yeah, I've been forever tossing up Mills and Hopper. Decided Hopper would probably have more of an impact. Both clubs have insanely packed midfields.

I generally don't pick KPD's so I'm reluctant to pick Weitering but I'll definitely consider the switch.
Really? I've heard from several posters that Hopper may be a way off? Mills will play, and play a lot is the other thing I keep hearing.o_O

What do you know about Hopper? :footy::thumbsu: (Havn't researched him because he doesn't appear on the radar, so I didn't bother!!

Crouch is still pending getting through NAB 3 unscathed and looking OK. Otherwise I'll likely move him down to Mills and then use the extra 100K to move someone like Shiel up to Priddis/Dangerfield or Walker to someone else.

Saintnationbaby. Add me to rivalries and let's put $100 on it.
Let's do it.

Really want Parker at M5, but it seems no matter how I try to work it I am giving up too much to make it fit.

Gotta love SC!! :)
Same here! Wish I could fit him in :(
Parker is a gun, will have a great year and is very underpriced.

I'm going stronger down back and up forward though, because 1. mid rookies always score the best and 2. there will be an abundance of decent mid options to pick from later in the year when I'm upgrading.

Having 3 mids to upgrade (I'm confident Libba will be a ~100 averaging keeper), I'm planning them to be JPK/Parker, Gray/Wines and Danger/Selwood. Never turns out how we plan though :) Damn SC haha :p
I have a quandry. I had Libba, and M Crouch. can see both together getting 85 averate. 170 together as a minimum. I turned them into Parker and Mathison. Parker 115 and Matheson 50. Combined 165 minimum.
Pro for Libba/Crouch = Good scoring
Con = Won't make huge coin and will probably trade both out to upgrade, 4 trades.

Pro for Parker/Matheson = Parker is a Primo
Con - Matheson will make a bit but has less JS and will be upgraded anyway, together I'm poorer score wise for about 8 rounds until I can upgrade Matheson.

I have read lots of arguments for Libba and Crouch (being mid pricers) and lots of good arguments against getting them. the result is I'm confused and I want some help from my friends to offer advice.

Yours truly
Confused as ****!

I've been pretty set on this side for the majority of preseason, but came down to picking KK & Josh Kennedy or McVeigh & Parker. Probably won't be much in it but I can't trust KK just yet, think he'll hover around 80-85 and if starts well I'll upgrade to him.
Have 60k left over for rookie adjustments. Thoughts?
Broard seems to be on the nose, Hartly from Ess seems important ATM.
Collins Marcon and Markov appear to be way off.
I like no Fyfe because his back issue has me as jittery as a restaraunt Lobster.
Yeo could be a top 4 Def if he is mid only. WC is only one player down from turning him into a hole plugger. He needs to stay on ball IMO but I'm not Adam Simpson. Bit risky. Upgrade target for mine.

What are you basing your predicted averages on ?? They could easily go 100+ each, or they could both get injured in the first minute of round 1. That's why we play supercoach. I'm on the M.Crouch + Libba punt myself. Sure it is risky, but if you put a team out like everyone else is on here, what are you going to achieve ??

Like the team alot PD !!
Just remember a team of pricers will always look better early on.

I'm probably more inclined to only start one of Sherridan and Lonergan but they both look so good at the moment.

Thanks for reply. I'm a pessamist so would naturally select lower averages. Libba could be almost 100, which M8 would be great and as toxic said, great cover for the General when he appears.

FWIW, what do you think M Crouch, or B Crouch would average this year. I really like M Crouch.
What is brads injury that is stopping him playing ATM?
Crows are my second team, so will enjoy seeing them play this year with some new faces and a new coach from the Eagles. :thumbsu:

I have already traded Broad to Hartley.
Agree with Yeo, has so much potential. It's either Yeo, Rampe or Smith. And I don't like any of them.
