Is anyone starting to freak out about rookies?

I am genuinely concerned about not being able to post a strong team with good rookie coverage after looking at team forums and seeing that most rookies I thought looked solid are not even being put in some teams best 22 at all.

SH!T.
Yep.

Current rookie locks are looking pretty grim.
Brown, Hartley and Kerridge.

THAT IS ALL!! :cry::cry:

yah i went around all the teams different bf site's last week to read up on the rookies.
was not much fun.
ok defence/forward/ruck options. but nothing special imo.
but the real problem is the mid's, mills being the only obvious option imo.
sigh.
its gonna be a mad dash after teams are announced.

I have finally come round to Pogba way of thinking and included the great Heath Shaw in my side...

B: Shaw, Laird, Bartel, M.Brown, Hartley, Ruggles (Lee, Adams)
M: Dangerfield, Pendlebury, Ablett, Rockliff, Parker, Liberatore, Mills, Gresham (Gore, Mathieson, Davis)
R: Goldstein, Gawn (Grimely)
F: Martin, Dahlhaus, Barlow, Wells, Meandue, Kerridge (McCarthy, Walla)

3-6-2-3 GnR structure including Libba.

Thoughts?

Option 1 or 2

Obviously wait and see on rookies. Looks good. You have added Lee. Care to share your thoughts on him?

Expensive rookie priced players like Weitering, Mills, Oliver, Parish, Gresham, Cocky, Milera, Simpkin, Menadue etc need to be included. I don't see the big deal in that. Can easily fit 2-3 of these guys in with just 1 less mid premo. With mid-pricers like Libba, Crouch, Wells, Lonergan, Hall and Sherro capable of putting up premo or close to premo numbers, a structure of 10-11 premo priced players, 2-3 of those mid priced/fallen premo's, 3 or 4 expensive rookies off-set the lack of cheaper rookies.

This year is make or break for him and he has shown at VFL level at least that he can be serviceable as a defender. Has good footskills for a big man and there is definitely a place for him in the future once Fisher and Dempster retire. Just in terms of the timing I think he will be given a run to prove himself. Richo has done this before with a few others (Murdoch late last year, Shenton a while ago, etc.), just depends when he gets picked.

I think he will find his way in to a lot of teams if he is a mid year downgrade option. definitely has the ability to go 70 with 80 being a max.

If he is named, at his price it may be worth the punt. Shame we didn't get to look at him in nab 2.
Thankyou for the time taken to reply.

Who does he push out of the team felsty?
I can't imagine he plays before Fisher or Goddard. They played quite small in defence last year if I am not mistaken, with Dempster and Roberton playing tall at times. If they do play an extra tall, does he get picked before Delaney?

Not sold on Howe or Kommer. Other than that it's sexier then a fresh after grogbog skidmark.
Kommer is a spud, so is Grimley but at 123k with JS imo, it's a no brainer.

50-60 avg easily for both.

Yeah he does due to Lee having better offensive skills than Luke.

If they play the extra tall it will be great for Roberton too. Should give us another Defender premo to choose from by years end. Fingers crossed anyhow

This is my first post on here, have been a 'browser' before this :p But thought it was time to make an account and show you guys my team. This is my 10th consecutive year I have played Supercoach, and this year would have to be one fo the best I've seen in terms of how many options there are!! So many tasty mid-pricers, it's waay too tempting. Anyway, here is my team...would love to hear your thoughts on it!! Rookies TBC, but happy at the moment...

Welcome mate. First team I've seen with Simpson in it LOL.
Get rid of Sinclair. He will neither gain nor lose, but you are wasting a spot with him as a mid pricer IMO. Dunno how you will do it, but thats what I would do.
