Would you trade out Mills, Oliver, Papley, Kerridge or Wells for him? That's what my starting mid/fwd rookie slots look like at the moment. Or do you reckon it's worth having him even if he's on the bench?
Kennedy is not essential. I wouldn't be burning a trade just to bring him in unless it made sense with other underperforming/unavailable player.
On another note, what are your mob doing at match committee? They upgrade some scrub rookie list player and name him, meanwhile Keays is murdering the NEAFL. I don't get it. Can you help me understand?
Yeah the only way I can justify it is to push him out for Gresham, or maybe Mccarthy at a stretch.
In terms of why we haven't picked Keays, it's basically because killing it in the NEAFL doesn't mean too much. Obviously that's his only barometer, but there's no real benefit to bringing Keays in to debut against Geelong, don't want Selwood and Danger to kill him. Billy Evans has been solid-ish in the games he's played for us, and is a bit more seasoned then Ben. Basically we're protecting him and giving him just a bit more time to develop in the 2's.
I'd say if Keays keeps playing the way he is, we'll have to pick him, I think we'd rather not be picking him until he was surrounded by Beams, Robinson, Rockliff and Rich, use him off the bench. If we put him in to play rockliff's role against one of the best midfield duo's in the comp, he'll get killed. Evans will too, but I guess they don't care too much about him. It's not a selection based on talent.
The way our club goes though is usually we'll have a chunk of players debut way too early because someone else fell on the cricket pitch. Keays in about round 8-12 at the latest I'd say.

Hrrrmmm so I traded out Barlow for Hall, and Rockliff for Libba. But now Crouch is out I'm not sure what to do. I could put Crouch on the bench and bring in either R.Davis or J.Dunkley to cover for the week, or trade Crouch and keep Barlow?? ;\

Maybe not Grigg then how about Tom Bell given his unique price and potent role he is bound to play for the Brisbane Blues this year

Then you missed nothing. You don't need them all, you need all the good ones.
I 'missed' Mills and Parish and y'all can have them. I'll make do with Tippa, Adams, Dea, Brown, Davis, Oliver (no better than Mills or parish IMO), Papley, Kerridge and BenKen.
If you have all those other lads, let a couple of the more expensive, less lucrative ones go IMO
