Still struggling with the pace of the game - As a point of comparison, Langford's first two games were better and he played plenty of VFL in year one - Let Redman develop in the VFL.

I reckon he has a lot of go in him. Probably not ready at AFL level yet but I think there is a good package there for us in time. The comparison with Langford in year 1 is a fair one. He seems to have a great attitude though, pretty quick, strong overhead and based on VFL reports is actually a very good set shot (although he couldn't bring it AFL in game 2 of his career which doesn't concern me).

I'd be happy for him to be in and out of the side all year depending on his form and fitness. He's still skinny as a rake and will not be able to play the bulk of the season in the AFL but reckon he's worth playing again this year. He feels like a guy who will play 5-7 games in total this year with an aim to having a big preseason and coming back and having a similar impact to Langford this year.

I think this guy has to string as many games together with the likes of Daniher Fantasia Langford gotta create synergy within our fwd line, out of the 12 we hardly have permanent fwds so come next yr hope to See 10-15 games of players playing together that can impact the start of next year. Breust Gunston poppy Rioli roughy have created experience together. Need to do the same here.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, playing AFL as such a lightweight will be very taxing on the body. I'd prefer to maybe give him another one now, then possibly a couple later in the year pending VFL form.

Next year is about the entire side finding synergy given those returning won't have played Woosha's game plan, not to mention the squad changes and player improvements. Redman can get more experience with a full side in 2017, there's no need to throw him to the wolves this year.

I have no idea why but I'm not sold on him yet. This is the year to give him senior games and see how he goes though.
He's a second game player. To be sold on a second gamer they'd have to be Heppell-like.

Not sure what this means, from my perspective he seems to have a stack of natural talent.
To even get to this level you have to be talented but in general, whether it is life or elite sport, natural talent will only take you so far.

From what I've read about the kid, he's an exceptionally hard worker so he's going to give himself every chance to succeed. Unlike say a Cupido or Richie Cole

Rewatched the game against north.
Super talented. Kicks his first goal and is more concerned about telling Langford what a good job he did(parish>walla>Langford>Redman=goal). Gives Crowley the death stare for not trusting him in the last.
Potential leader, potential superstar.
Can handle the hits, hope to see him hold his place and have only rests. No more vfl please for "...I'm RedMan".
