This line has been giving me the sh1ts since pre season.
Starting premos being junk ( Barlow, S Gray), Early guns dropping off (Hall)
Inconsistant(Dusty)
Zorko loosing magnificence and Monty putting up spud scores
Fallen premos with false injuries(Wells)
Delidio not yet showing SP scores yet
and now Dalhaus down with what could be a long term injury.

I have or have had most of these players who should be in the top 10 fwds for the year. This should probably be in vents thread but just wanted to get some discussion going on where people think we are heading with fwds for the rest of the year.
The potential for varience between teams is highest on this line so selections may prove the difference from here on.

Its not looking good. I jumped off Wells when I heard achilles, big mistake, although picked up Doch for him so i'll just call it even.

Hall im sure will bounce back, if your good enough to get a 40 possession game, your good enough to bounce back. Just a matter of when, the week off may kick him into gear.

Dahl is wait and see, I have a feeling it will be one of those awkward time frames of 2-3 weeks, which is a massive blow over the bye period.

Cant fault Zorko and Dusty too much, Dusty isn't far off what I was expecting which was around 105-108, so he could still end with that. Zorko has had a couple of down weeks, but over all the guy is matching it with the top mids, so unless you only just got him you would be happy with that return.

Yeah as i said probably more a vent thread post.
After trading out Wells, Hall droped and Dal going down it has been a compoundingly frustrating line for me!
Nice to see dusty and monty read my post and extracted their digits!
 
Anyone have an updated opinion on who the top 6 forwards will be? The drop in form of Hall and Dahlhaus could throw a spanner in the works...

In no particular order:

Martin
Dahlhaus
Montagna
Deledio
Zorko
Merrett

Buddy
Hall

I reckon Hall has dropped to the outside of the pack and Dahl can slot straight back in and keep a spot after he receivers from injury. Buddy is a smokie.

His time on ground has improved since he returned...back to early round levels.

I think he looks solid. Very fit. I'd expect a big one this week.
 
For anyone who has Motlop, don't jump off because the Dogs will play him into form :oops:
 
Merrett is still worth getting, isn't he?

Got Dusty, Zorko, Buddy, Joey then
- Kerridge until I find someone better
- Hall until he decides whether he's good or not
- Petracca probably as roving bench cover the rest of the year
- Menaspew who will provide his final act of usefulness by being turned into Merrett.

Lids is the other option, if it fits into your byes.

My current forward line is looking pretty good but I'm unsure who to add. Had Tippet at F6 but that's no longer. Maybe play Kerridge and Petracca until Dahlhouse returns? Could even get Lids or Monty in the next couple of weeks. Thoughts?

Zorko, Martin, JJK, Zerret, Wells, Kerridge (Petracca, Short).

I would keep Dahl. That cover is good.

Lids is my final forward upgrade

How do people rate Rose from Sydney in regards to job security? Would help me out alot in the byes as I am still carrying Menadue and Macpherson aswell as a perma-doughnut ruck.
