The revelation was Karpany. Actually looked like a footballer and had a genuine influence on the game
Yes a surprisingly good game, not just a good game for him but a good game. Hope he back sit up.

Oh and JON would be close to the dumbest footballer I've seen

Shepherded a ball through the goals when he was alone in the goal square. Good team play

Ball was touched
Na that's just WAFL quality umpiring. Was a bit of a laugh with Souths players after the game, one threw out a "I touched that" as it crossed the line and the umps fell for it. WAFL umps are so easy to manipulate and confuse.

Whats a worse footballer than a spud then. He is past it shoulda retired last year
Don't comment on football anymore. Just read the posts.

**** me Fremantle oval is a shithole

Keyser it always had been.

But I am also a bit biased as that shit hole ( with a sandy inconsistent bounce surface, was where I played my last ever game of football.:'(:rage:
One minute I had just kicked my third for the game with 20 minutes of the game left then..... Kowpow ..... ACL anterior cruciate F*****, PCL posterior cruciate F***** and Medial collateral ligament F*****. Next minute in an :ambulance: then in Fremantle :hospital: being Xrayed and fasting for surgery that had been scheduled for :syringe: :knife::knife::knife: at 10.00 am next morning.

After coming round from the op The Club and the Dr game me the news after the surgery..... game , set and match.
At age 24. NO MORE FOOTBALL EVER :gun::gun:

I took it well :tonguewink: :drunk::drunk::drunk: I was only angry for the next 10 years.
Worst thing is that my younger brother got promoted from Colts to take my place .
He then duly went on to win a premiership medal and then a few years latter a second.
Younger Brother 2 :trophy::trophy:..... ME 0.

ME Bitter ....table for one.

So Keyser Soze I can concur Fremantle Oval is a shithole of the worst kind.

I know Sheed was on limited game time, but does anyone know how limited? 2 and a half quarters, 80 minutes, 3 quarters? How far away is he from playing a full game and eligible for selection, we've definitely been missing him this year.

Mckenzie was just ok but did stand up well in the last quarter when south were pressing
I know you probably weren't watching him that closely but do you have any thoughts on the other medium/tall defender #23 for East Perth in his last few games?

Eagles are going to give Sheed as long as it takes to get him right , so i very much doubt they will bring him in against NM

Yeah I know he wouldn't be in next game, just trying to see how many weeks he would have in wafl before returning.

As I've said earlier I generally go to games to watch the Eagles players so don't always watch the east Perth players so hadn't really noticed Gorter in past games

Definitely noticed him today though. Was very very good and was easily the best of the defenders. Really liked his game

Also thought Fraser played a very good game - pity for him he's not 6 inches taller as he'd be playing AFL if he was

Sorry, if I missed it but did Adamson play?
Played in the reserves. Unlucky to have been dropped imo

Going on stats he had a good first half but a quieter second

One thing that stood out was how much we've missed shreds left boot - it's a thing of beauty. Think he needs one more week at east Perth though to build match fitness. Played the second half mainly at half forward after playing in the centre in the first half
Was semen producingly good in the second and part of the 3rd i saw

Am I on my lonesome here???

Or do any others think that McInnes has run his course and is now very much left in "no mans land"... not an AFL backup ruckman...not an emerging WAFL KPP and certainly not dominating at the lower level.

Was happy enough with the selection when we drafted him ... but it hasn't worked out thus far and doesn't look like it will.

Thought that you would be focused on the West Coast players but wanted to see if you had noticed him. Good to see he is standing out a little. Been told there are a couple of coaches putting a bit of work with him. Good size, can play big or small and very clean. Could be a draft smokey.

The fact West Coast played Brown ahead of McInnes, in McInnes optimal role as a forward/ruckman even though Brown has never played as a ruckman, to me his papers have been marked.

Hutchings worst game has been better than Redden or Duggans best . so why would you have them replace him? serious question
Rubbish hutch has had some shockers this year and even his good games are tarnished with poor kicks and slow, Indecisive ball movement .
Not that the others have been better but don't put hutch up on a pedestal

Definitely with you on this one. Unfortunately for some players the step between a
AFL and WAFL, VFL, SANFL etc is too big of a jump. Which is disappointing because he has showed a lot of promise but I don't know if he will ever make it to be a quality / damaging player in the AFL. Harsh but that's the reality of it.

McInnes is strange because he always provides a target but it doesn't seem to translate into anything. It's like he should be better than he is.

He's contracted for next year so they should look at getting another tall this draft if they are looking at delisting him next year. Especially if Lamb is going too.

Nobody knows what McInnes is or where he fits in

His development as a ruckman/forward is stifled by the presence of Johnson as it's difficult play giles, Johnson and McInnesKPf in the one side. Problem for him is he's not a good enough to play as a pure KPF but that's what I'd like to see them do with him at East Perth - stick him at FF and keep him there to see how he goes

Yep agree I do get your drift on this one.
These young draftees get in a situation that not only do you need to look what's in front of you in the pecking order .. but also in the rear vision mirror as what coming after your draft year.....cue ......Tommy Barrass ...as he has now overtaken Fraser in the list of emerging KPP.... and by some margin.

On a side note ....Barrass is a very exciting prospect.

Redden is in there m8 but fair point about Dugg
So he is

Ellis and sheed both better as well. Especially Ellis who kept EP in the game in the first quarter
