After hatching that 360 Pikachu earlier, i hatched a 421 Pikachu tonight.

Good times.


Slightly offset though by having a 10CP Magikarp block by ball twice, and then run away. ugh

Dad and I found Bulbasaur at the local Marina.

It escaped the Pokeball first two throws before going up in smoke after my 60 yr dad caught it.

Salt was real.

Tried chasing an Arcanine but could never find it, likewise another whose silhouette I didn't recognise and a few eevees...
Consistently 3 paws until they just disappeared.

Anyone else think that hanging around in a certain area for long enough catching base level Pokémon eventually brings the evolved form?

Caught a heap of Magnemite today and after a while Magneton started to show up. Is there anything to this?

I was very tempted to defend a CP 10 gym with a magikarp for the lulz. Driving by and you see him on top would be pretty great IMO.

I'd nickname him Konqueror Karp or something.

I can always locate them if they're worth it!

Top left Pokemon is closest to you, so you can watch the position of the pokemon you want move up or down the list to gauge direction. Once it moves up the list you're getting warmer. After that it's a process of elimiation - pick a landmark and try each direction, watching how it moves up or down on your list.

Pokemon shouldn't normally "de-spawn" and if it disappears suddenly it could be your GPS being funny. Just restart the game or wait a minute.

No footprint? Just select that pokemon and it'll appear in a few seconds. One footprint means I walk slowly it's very near and can often just pop up on the screen.

Made my first Pokemon pal today. Also had my first mass-play encounter at a local park. Caught my first crabby, sheldor and dugtrio. All low level but happy to tick them off.

Someone named DwarfTaco has stolen your idea - CP 15 Magikarp is currently the only Pokemon at a gym around my house.

You can determine which pokemon your Eevee evolves into by renaming it before you evolve.

"The Eevee Brothers from the original anime were named Rainer, Pyro, Sparky and they owned a Vaporeon, Flareon and Jolteon respectively. If you nickname your Eevee either Rainer, Pyro or Sparky, your Eevee will evolve into that desired Eeveelution.

Sparky = Jolteon

Rainer = Vaporeon

Pyro = Flareon"a

I have 5 egg incubators working for me now. Caught the free bus around Perth city and hatched a heap.

Not only do they come with a load of stardust, candy and xp, hatched Pokemon are stronger. Have about 40 egg born Pokemon now!
