Footy fans need to abandon the traditional views about Jack Watts as a player.

He has become an A grade forward. It's not just the goal, he is as smart a forward and good at converting possessions in the forward half into scoring opportunities for others as there is.
He's playing very much inthe Gunston mould this season, and in terms of current form has him covered.

Good on Jack too. Gee he's copped some shit but he never dropped his head and he's found his home now.

North are so crap. Can't even beat an injury depleted Bulldogs. Don't deserve to play finals but will most likely somehow fluke their way to another prelim.

Doubt it. Last two years they at least beat some of the top sides. This year they've been flat track bullies.

"This guy has been good hasn't he, Biggs" - BT

Clearly that's Daniel on the screen giving high fives to supporters.

In the two games between the Kangaroos and Bulldogs there have been a total of 31 goals. Both have been uninspiring games, though tonight's game was a better standard than the first game.

West Coast vs Hawthorn in round 22 becomes massive now. West Coast win that and we could see Hawthorn miss the top 4 due to their relatively shit percentage.

Few random thoughts and questions:

- Justin Leppitsch is a hypocrite, complaining about unfair concessions.
- Tom Lynch (on paper) looks to be having a dominant season. Is that the case, and who does he play like?
- Zac Merrett (on paper) looks like he's in the top 5-10 midfielders in the comp; is that the case?
- Has there been a lot of pressure on Nathan Buckley during the last few years? How does he still have a job, considering he has made that club consistently decline every year?
- Is Ross Lyon safe? (I'm a fan)
- How is Daniher tracking?
- Has Ambrose still been playing key defence; how has he been?

- Leppa is a bit of a hypocrite, but they don't get nearly the same concessions that GC/GWS/Sydney do.
- Yes. He plays a lot like Corey McKernan as a forward IMO.
- No, but top 20 most likely.
- A bit, but they seem to win whenever the pressure goes on.
- Probably.
- Extremely well. I wanted 40 goals pre-bans and since he's likely to achieve that with the bans I think it's been a very good year.
- Yes, and has been solid.

Lynch will be best forward in the comp for the next 5 years if he continues his improvement.

I think statistically Zach would be in top 12 surely

It would be nice if the Lions got the same concessions as the other teams from non-traditional AFL states did.

Is that in regards to players, or in regards to money for football department? I think once salary cap concessions are gone they need to stay gone. But the lions definitely need more money for footy department spend and or facilities.

I can see him being it at the end of next year honestly. Still right in the Coleman race too with Essendon (Hartley), Collingwood (Brown) and Port (Hombsch) to go. Buddy has St. Kilda (Fisher), North Melbourne (Tarrant) and Richmond (Rance) to go. Kennedy has Freo (Dawson), GWS (Davis), Hawthorn (Frawley) and Adelaide (Talia) to go. Think we'll see Kennedy win it honestly.

Also as an aside, there's a way we can see Hawthorn miss on the top 4, North drop out of the 8, and have all three of Carlton, Collingwood and Richmond get into the bottom 6 this year. But St. Kilda have to get into the top 8 so...

You should watch some footy Kong, it's not bad.
Eh.

I watched about 15 minutes of the Bulldogs/North game last night, still didn't do much for me.

These days I like the "idea" of it, or at least I like seeing the results, but whenever I try to watch I just don't get much out of it.

Zachs around the top 10.

Danihers been very consistent.

Lynch is in the top 3 kpfs.

that was not the game to watch if you're trying to get back into it. The Dees v Hawkers game on the other hand had all the passion and excitement that makes the pain of the bad games worthwhile.
