Treloar's back 3 games were all worth 3 votes - gun and a half. As I've stated previously before receiving backlash, his best is far better than Shiel's

I'm absolutely floored by how much people rate Shiel over Treloar. I definitely have Treloar ahead.

2016, Treloar averaged more possessions, more contested possessions, went at 73% disposal efficiency to Shiel's 71%, had 50 more tackles, only took 10 less marks and 10 less clearances (in one less game), they're a push on inside 50s, had equal goals, had more goal assists... and 21 Brownlow votes to 7.

Yet Shiel is winning 80% to 20% - wow.

I know stats aren't everything, but Treloar is significantly better statistically and I haven't seen anything in a game that would suggest that Shiel is better than Treloar. When Treloar was at GWS, he was the better player and I don't see how that's changed with him going to Collingwood. Shiel is a gun though.

Treloar outperformed Shiel when they played together and outperformed him again this season. I think it's a lot to do with Treloar moving to the Pies but the fact that Treloar looks like a 14 year old girl and Shiel like he's stepped off the pages of a comic book may be a factor in this result as well.

Shiel only needs to be slightly better in 77.8 percent of people's minds for them all to vote Shiel. It's a black and white vote; you just pick the one you think is better and not worry about what others think.

You've just admitted that you have skewed the vote count as you didn't like the result. If you actually think that Sheil is better, even just slightly, then that's who you should have voted.

I have a sneaky suspicion that might have just a little something to do with the colours that Treloar wears.

There's no way in hell that the difference between the two is as broad as the poll suggests. They're extremely close.
