Yeah reckon somewhere like Surfers or Broadbeach would be great venues for this sort of local derby.
perhaps they should split the competition into Brisbane and Gold Coast. Whilst not good for an even competition maybe best for the supporters.SMY, agree so much ,,now u know Im a Broadbeach supporter,, but look at the facilities at their home ground now.... best in the comp and better then Yeronga headquarters ...eg,.their change rooms are state of the art for this level of footy , new coaches boxes and bench for the players, ample parking, bbq and kiosk foods , a licensed clubhouse , good spectator facilities and a large ground with a good playing surface ,,,
Suggest the crowd might be 2000 plus at Yeronga ,,, but if played at Broadbeach I reckon the crowd might of hit 3000... no doubt supporters from both Labrador and PBC would front up, plenty of Broadbeach, Surfers and Southport,,, and many lower division players and supporters like Robina, Coolangatta etc would attend ..
Anyway ,, just my opinion.
has to be discipline or injury related. I watched a few games mid year and he was their best midfielder by a mile. Assumed he had been injured for a while, as they were playing him mostly outside - which clearly not suited.
No way he's dropped if fully fit.

Wonder if he remembers grand final day at Carrara in 2006?Have a look at the Gold Coast Bulletin today and see the scathing comments written by QAFL reporter , Terry Wilson ...in reference to playing the Grand Final at Yeronga ...... He is spot on ..
yes, bu its Ryan Davey
Wouldn't the tribunal hearing been last week?Heard today that thornsen got 2 weeks last night. If this is true it's a fair blow to Labrador.
I also heard they are flying in Ryan Davey for the game? Surely that's a massive gamble as the bloke hasn't played for over 6 weeks.
