Interested to get a feel for why people support either the Victory or City in Melbourne.
Obviously Victory have far larger supporter numbers, with a large supporter base already in place before City came along.
So, after the initial flirtation with Melbourne Heart, who now follows City? Did you change your allegiance when they came along and if so, why?
For newer supporters, or supporters who jumped on the Heart, does the tie with Manchester City and the branding that comes with it put you off. Imagine for Manchester United supporters especially, but even Liverpool and other EPL clubs this might be an issue?
What is the point of difference between the two Melbourne clubs for someone looking to get behind one or the other (now now Victory supporters - try and resist the urge to answer this with 'success') and who are they trying to appeal to?
