I hope we helped bush up his salary:):$:thumbsu::rainbow:
He already had a contract for next year so all we've done is not allow them to palm his inflated salary off to us

Fingers crossed they focus on trying to get more draft picks in the early 20s, I think 2017 should be a mini rebuild and push hard for flag in 2018.

Having two Mitchell's, could that not be a tad confusing??
You know what's confusing

An essendon supporter having a discussion on the eagles board about hawthorn

You're welcome to be here btw

Have a busy weekend, busy monday morning, log onto big footy and oh **** it's trade week so 16 pages of shit to read for 0 insight :D Oh and on SPP i think he will slide a bit but from what i have seen there are 2 issues with his kicking and neither is decision making related. At times his ball drop goes inside out making him have to chase the ball with his foot and secondly the accuracy of his kicking is that like a lot of players without great skills he has the general kicking to an area rather than kicking it straight to a player. I don't think he's worth pick 12 but would rather have him there than miss out on him at pick 31-33. In saying that he has some real elite areas of his game and as such don't see enough of a difference between a scrimshaw/taranto etc vs spp so would be great to downgrade that first rounder and try and pick up another top 30 pick.

Also hearing that north may take dylan clarke with their first rounder.

FREMANTLE has moved closer to acquiring Greater Western Sydney forward Cam McCarthy, with the clubs discussing a deal in which first-round picks would be exchanged and another pick would be given to the Dockers.

Under the most recent proposal, the Dockers would give up pick no 3 and receive back GWS’ pick No. 7, with the Giants also giving up a later pick, most likely in the second round. The Giants hold picks No. 32 and 34 in the second round at present.

If this deal was agreed upon, the Dockers would gain McCarthy and a second-round pick and would see their first rounder downgraded to pick No. 7, while the Giants would simply gain four draft picks in the first round — from 7 down to 3 — while forfeiting the player and a later pick.

Giants must be desperate for cap space!

terrible deal for gws, unless the journo just ripped this rumor from bf

It's also much easier for gws to go from pick 3-2 or 1 than from 7 to 2 or 1. I think bombers will take mcluggage either way so gws would then get their man at pick 2 anyway. Earlier on in the year the lions were very much into SPS but things may have changed since.
