mate its coming out of the tax payers pockets.I'm concerned about the cost of all these medicals. How much is it costing the club to give every player in the AFL a once over?
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Me too. [emoji57]I only call him Crazy Vozzo as a nickname. He seems quite switched on
Totally free. Volunteer is doing all the medicals.....I'm concerned about the cost of all these medicals. How much is it costing the club to give every player in the AFL a once over?

I'd love for McKenzie to bounce back but I'm not confident he will. And if he can't that a lot of money we have sitting in the WAFL next season. Perhaps the club is backing Adams to be as good as McKenzie but on about half (maybe even less) of a contract then E-mac.Quick question
If Adams playing down back enables Gov to go forward why doesn't a improved (on 2016 form) McKenzie do the same thing
Would cost us too muchSurely Goldstein is not coming to the club? Would be beyond epic though. But I don't know what we do with both him and NicNat ? Or if these rumours are true maybes its a one year thing to get away from Melbourne, clear his head, whilst we need a ruckman then we trade him back to a Melbourne club ? I can't even remember it being done before but doesn't sound too far fetched I guess...
As great as players as Goldstein and NicNat are it's hard to see them being compatible in the same line up.... I know Cox and NicNat did but Cox is a better forward then both those guys and NicNat was still developing at the time and like most developing ruckman would spend time in the forward line.
We all thought the Mitchell trade was out of left field but this would blow that out of the water....
He reckons his body is feeling as good as it ever has, and while i realise he is keen to play on and is hardly going to say he feels like shit, he played the most games he's ever played in a season and finished the season pretty strong, so that seems to back him up. My worry is that things can go south pretty quickly for ageing Eagles players. Glass, and to some extent Cox, are recent examples of otherwise fairly injury free and resilient players that fell away quickly. Embley another.Do ya reckon his body is up to it?
well he did cheat on his wife with a north trainer, maybe the distance is whats needed for him.If Goldstein wanted to leave North so badly he would just join a melbourne club surely. Why would he relocate across the other side of the country to a club which already has a couple established ruckman in NN and Lycett? There are 16 other clubs he could run away to and be better off.
Whole thing is bogus.

Agree with this. Hawthorn are looking replace and develop replacements for all their guys over 30.
Hawks over 30
Mitchell (34) - Gone (Replaced by Tom Mitchell )
Burgoyne (33) - Only 1 year left I'd say (Replaced by O'Meara )
Gibson (32) - 1-2 Max
Hodge (32) - 2-3 Max
Lewis (30) - Probably has about 2-3
Roughead (29) may not play again (Vickery possible Replacement)
Watch them target a few defenders soon[/
I don't think Hodge will go that long. Has had some injury issues along the way and always seems to be playing under duress and he plays a pretty combative style. Gibson the other. He backs his athleticism a fair bit to get to and negate contests. That will fall away slowly and he is going to struggle. Will be tough but will start to look a bit ordinary when he can't quite cover the grounStyleused to and his leap doesn't quite give him the advantage it used to. Lewis will be the interesting one. They'll need him to do more as JOM gets back to fitness, if he gets there.
