I started laughing when he mentioned that he spoke to other list managers about the talent in the coming drafts & most of them told him this years crop is better than next years.

Yeah Jason because Brisbane who are about to bend you over are going to tell you that this crop of players in that range are garbage.

Why would he even need to consult something like that, are our talent scouts incapable of forming their own opinions on players that we're supposed to have stacks of knowledge about?

Surely someone at the club floated the notion that we're devoid of KPF talent so maybe keeping an early pick for a draft rich of talls might be something worth considering?

How on earth could we leave this trade period without bringing in one player? more holes than sieve on this list, we needed at least one ruck backup & a forward.

Ridiculous beyond belief, I guess we'll wait and see the final delistings across the comp & look at something surely.

Perspective. Who would swap pick 6 for 19&30?

I'm still convinced there is another trade but he and the club have to pretend that they were not pre agreed.

There is no way, ever, that you would entertain this. Ever. Pick 30 is nothing at all, pick 19 reasonable at best.

This is just not possible. Has to be a sweetener on ah chee

If not, Keith should resign for derelict leadership

He said they'd prefer multiple players filling multiple positions, rather than draft one superstar.

Yep, he used the word superstar.

From Cripps I got the impression he thinks next year we can just trade our 2018 first rounder for a 2017 first rounder ... and continue doing that indefinitely. While its logically correct, it feels like living off the credit card to me.

He also got the shits up when Hartlett was discussed, and pretty much indicated Ken had convinced Hamish to stay on the golf course while he wanted him traded. IMO, regardless of whether we should have traded Hamish or not, this shouldn't be aired in public.

That's a life of kisses and hugs every night, while all your mates who waited one year get a root and bj every night

A list of perpetual hbf players, and never a boak, wines or wingard

When it comes to evaluating the worth of trades it's clear that [random port board pleb] >> [an actual ****** AFL list management team]

I'd back just about anyone here against Cripps.

(Even Changaneen?)

ESPECIALLY CHANGANEEN

Cripps mentioned in that interview that its very likely that by the end of the draft period we would have brought in 7 new players. That can't all be through the draft and rookie, so that must mean some trade ins?

Henderson in the PSD (if that is even still a thing?)

Also said todays trade might be it didn't he?

197cms, three-legged rotty, underrated backman/overrated ruckman
Did lol at a caller talking to Kane today about getting Trengove to Collingwood "would Greenwood get it done?" Kane responds with "think that's unders you'd probably have to cough up steak knives"

Bloody hell are we the only people (our club included) that value some of our top 10 players on our list or is it a fire sale where anyone can poach the few guns we have using bigfooty-esque trades where spud + shit pick = quality?
