I'd take Mashall at 16. Seems everyone is holding hopes for Freeman and Close and IMO they won't make the grade. Hipwood could be a decent prospect but God knows what he is being groomed for under Fagan... could be defender or a ruck forward for all we know. I only have Schache as a 'sure thing' forward for us. I'd also be looking into English if he is around our picks in the 20s but I can't see him sliding past Suns last pick maybe.

Hipwood is a sure thing for me as much as Schache is...much less developed body wise and still managed a bag of 4 in his 10 games and showed plenty

We're very lucky to have picked them up in the same draft

If we in fact are interested in key forwards isn't next years crop considered better than Marshall and Kerr I say we should wait until next year and draft midfielders this year in a midfielders draft the midfielders next year aren't considered that highly

I still think Hip could turn into a beast of a ruckman. Tbh we are very lucky he is so versatile and has a great attitude when it comes to playing a role for the team. Could up elite as any of a forward, ruck or defender.

That's true, I'm not sold on Marshall and I think it was more of a case that this years crop is so light on for KPF's that he stands out. Hipwood showed a lot up forward that I hope we persevere with him there and could be our Rory Lobb. There are alot of smoke and mirrors up to the draft and clubs can go to players homes and do interviews as a ruse. I hope it is this in this case.

Everybody put so much pressure on Schache with his Goal kicking. The media, the club, the fans, himself. There was a lot of pressure on the kid, with all the hype around his goal kicking it is understandable that he was a bit off under the pressure. I have full confidence that he will be much better this year. Around a 30 goal year next year. If he hits his first couple of hard ones early in the season he will be over the hump and away.

Id say we are a 5% chance of taking a tall forward in this draft .... Current forwards Hipwood (might go back) Schache walker Mcstay (maybe def) close freeman with the young ballendon coming next year. We have got Fagan and Noble on board to stop us from destroying ourselves with bad decisions. Canole would be wise to listen to Scwabby Noble and Fagan before taking a kid who struggles to get double figures touches in most games, Marshall is my tip to slide out of the first round! Hang on just saw it has come from Brett Anderson, he's like a deer with no eyes. NFI

If the deer is an N'F'I then he is missing something else aside from his eyes also...

With the talent in the top 25 this year and with Ballenden a lock for next year, I'd be pretty disappointed if we picked Marshall at 16 let alone 21/22.
There is no way that if Berry, Florent, Venables or Simpkin are available at 16 we will pick Marshall.
Remember that this is Brett Anderson we're talking about, not Emma Quayle or Callum Twomey.

GWS seem set on Ainsworth if McGrath is taken by Bombers leaving us with the Luggage both Towmey and Anderson are going with this. I'm really going to be disappointed if we miss out on Ainsworth

Canole loves his talls, especially forwards. It would not shock me although I think our needs are definitely in the middle of the ground.

Right on. Great assessment. We need a lot. But this year,the middle should be our focus.
