I'm seriously worried that without support the old Bloods could fail as a club in the next five years. Been playing finals for so long they might not have the strength to go on, as the club falls down the ladder in 2017.
The obvìous risk is the AFL could then place a second good club in Sydney as competition.

To prevent this happening I suggest the following:-

1. Troĺling their club be banned on BF so as not to break their hearts.

2. Our outside mids agree to be motionless for at least 5 seconds before disposing of the ball when we play them. Just in case McVeigh is close enough to lay a tackle

3. COLA be reinstated in an untesricted way and expanded to 100% of the cap. Seriously people please stop whinging about unfair advantage, it's like complaining old people have an advantage cause they can carry a walking stick without looking silly.

4. Far it from us to tell our bunnies the Hawfs what to do but seriously guys could you lay off for a while, at least until they get their confidence back.

5. If you run into a Swans fan in the street please shout them a Soy Latte and make consoling noises about how good their list is. Preferably without snickering, you know you can do it.

I don't see how that helps

I lived in in Sydney in the 80s during their dark days. It was almost a standing joke to rock up to work on Mondays and laugh at their weekends pitiful performance.
The papers would tell us of Rod Carters or Barry Rounds heroic efforts in front of a few thousand at the SCG..

Great days..

As it seems all their best players are ex hawks they'll be given unrestricted access to our list come March next year.

Capper was the biggest thing on the footy field in the eighties

I would love to offer my heartfelt support to our beloved Colas but can't seem to locate any this off season.

I hope nothing terrible has happened?
I worry they've seen the writing on the wall.

Not seeing any swans gear on the streets either. Hoping it's just that unlike us Westies, fans from Lesser Eastern Sydney own more than one jacket.
