I hope for the sake of AFL (not grass roots football) that the Suns have a decent year and at least challenge for finals. Looking at those numbers it seems that they're going to struggle to get to 10k.

What worries me is they haven't seemed to have added anyone since November, is that just how the club does things? Do the memberships flow in a bit later?

They have another bad year which is quite possible, they will sack another coach when IMO they jumped the gun far to early on Bluey and got a coach whose best years may have already been behind him.

Essendon hit 50,000 today. On track for 61,000 by round 1.
I really think we will be closer to 65k by round 1 and depending how we fare early 70k is very achievable. We are selling plenty of our high end memberships too which is fantastic. Wouldn't surprise me if we fill our quota of High Mark memberships and go close on the Silver memberships and that's where all the money is

Essendon at 50,710. Essendon were 46,100 on 6th Feb last year after a huge boost of sympathetic buyers post CAS verdict. It then slowed to a grinding holt as reality of a difficult year set in and membership slowed considerably from mid Feb. I think by 6th Feb this year Essendon will be +6,000 and with a stronger selling period in Feb and March this year almost guaranteed, a figure between 65-70,000 certainly on the cards. Targeting 61,300 by round 1, if achieved it would be about +8,000 vs its previous best round 1 result and on track for 70,000. Not bad for an Ethihad stadium club!!

Wookie / Collingwood fans: Can someone get us a current Collingwoid figure and comparison to lady year???

Tigers (-2,200) going about as expected ahead of their usually busy selling period in Feb and March. The Tiges figure holding up quite well.

Hawks still about +1,500 but monentum slowing a tad and will be interesting if they can maintain their 2016 record in 2017.

Carlton around +2,200 heading for a lie 50's figure. Still well below what's possible but their time will come.

Hey Wookie, it would be great if we could add a column from same time last year so we could understand how each club is fairing in 2017?
