Well we are finally put out of our misery. With Fyfe being named captain the club can move forward. This leadership group this year has the right mix of experience and youth.

I felt last year the leadership group had a bit of dad's army about with jonno getting reinstated and fyfe being the only member under 25.

Now with neale and walters in there the future looks bright along side fyfe hopefully for the next few years.

Hopefully history doesn't judge mundy too harshly he has been a great player and a loyal servant and hopefully his career isnt remembered for what happened last year.

And special mention to lee spurr the unsung hero is that 3 years in a row for him in the leadership group now can someone confirm.

Fyfe summed it up perfectly regarding Mundy...

“His role won’t be diminished within the group. His influence and connection to other players is at the highest level, and the group recognises that we’re in a different period at the moment than we were 12 months ago.”

We have turned over our list and will turn over more players at the end of this season. It's a new chapter and Fyfe is our future and he needed to become captain. The majority on here knew it and I'm stoked that he was selected instead of stagnating for another season.

I'm never wrong.
Well...

I am a tremendous poster. I know news. I have the best news. Tremendous.
You're pretty good. Then again you do have a tendency to back both horses in a two-horse race.

Take the Dustin Martin possible FA move...

Will be staying a Tiger.

What is happening with Fyfe? This seems to be the elephant in the room at the moment.

There is definitely a chance he could leave.

Pretty much, and I'm not as confident Fyfe will re-sign.

Whats the general consensus with pick 3? English? Petrevski-Seton? or someone else?

1. McGrath
2. English
3. SPS

The club is really into English though.

Ummm, I wouldn't actually mind if GC take him to be honest (English)

They could take him at pick 6. However, they might not need him now that they are getting **** Witts.

Just from what I've heard: Freo and GC have been the two teams most into English.

And Freo's too...

Can't see Freo taking Logue at 7. It'll be English, Taranto or Scrimshaw.

Taranto and Scrimshaw were off the table by pick seven, so that left...oh dear. Happily English did find a home at Western Bulldogs (#19).

If I could be bothered I'd find my post from about 5 years ago when the subject of Pav's heir first started coming up.
My reply was along the lines of Fyfe so easily it wasn't even a contest.
The Mundy interim year I didn't predict.
