Yeah agree Bicks , think he ends up 10-15Will need to have a very big year with his size [lack of] to go top 10 though..
We definitely need to start thinking ruck , unsure whether 2nd round of draft is the place ... certainly not just because we need one but only if there is a very good one thereIf we can't secure a good mid with our 1st rounder, then 2nd priority needs to be a good athletic ruck if any are available. Sauce is only getting slower and we need someone to develop to put pressure on ROB and Hunter.

Trading is prob safer
I would love Grundy !!Trading Grundy back to SA will be a marvellous thing haha
If I could choose one player for us right now it would be Lochie O'Brien - could be the next Josh Kelly
Plenty to play out , love Fogarty as well and Rayner
More will emerge
Yeah he could be good tooLOB is great. Rayner a Pettraca clone. 'my (preseason) boy' is Hunter Clark. So much to like at this time of the year.

Agreed on Hunter Clark. Love his mixture of class, composure and aggression. Could turn into a very dangerous midfielder in time. My favourite at this point.LOB is great. Rayner a Pettraca clone. 'my (preseason) boy' is Hunter Clark. So much to like at this time of the year.

I would love Grundy !!
Would cost the earth and probs doesn't want to go anywhere
Wish we drafted him but no doubt in midst of Tippo sanctions
I want to see us do something aggressive like trading our first this year and next to get the draft pick we need to get Fogarty. Could well be the next Fyfe.If I could choose one player it would be Fogarty but he's likely gone so I'd go for Ethan Penrith as my realistic choice.
I think we could have a bit of a need for a bit of everything, depending on how we go this year. Our 2017 needs are the same as the 2015 and 2016 drafts - genuine top class midfielders.
Hopefully 2nd or 3rd up with later picksI think we could have a bit of a need for a bit of everything, depending on how we go this year.
Could need another geniune CHB type if Otten and Kelly leave.
Could need another ruckman if Hunter doesn't pan out
I'm guessing there's a good chance we'll take Jackson Edwards first up, which continues to add to our midfield, but later on we could have a similar draft to this year where we took a few bigger blokes.
We only use our first on Jackson if someone puts a bid on him. I dont think that will happen before our first pick.I'm guessing there's a good chance we'll take Jackson Edwards first up, which continues to add to our midfield, but later on we could have a similar draft to this year where we took a few bigger blokes.
IIRC, they were tossing up b/w Grundy, BenKen and Broomhead. I think I recall Rendell saying they would have taken Broomhead if it weren't for Trigg, I mean the draft sanctionsHamish said on Callum Twomey's podcast that he rated him extremely highly in 2012 and that they likely would have had a crack at selecting him if not for the surrendered pick. He described watching him slip down the board and wondering what the hell the other recruiters were thinking letting him slide that far if I remember correctly.
