Simon Pendleton is and always will be the saviourI'd go Pendles to JPK again and upgrade to Shaw. I've got a bad feeling about good old trusty Pendles this year.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Rookies may change like with everyone's team but I have $129,800 in the bank which is nice but it feels kind of high but I also can't find a place to spend it that will make the team better. Maybe somebody else can see where the extra money could go?
Swanny without Zak Jones!!!!!!!View attachment 347532

Love Jones but he's awkwardly priced and no guarantee to break out yet, should do though.Swanny without Zak Jones!!!!!!!
Not sold on Steele had an interrupted preseason,
Nice, hope Rockliff goes ok. he's been in and out of my side.
Looks eeriely similar to mine!!!!
The Ramsay pick is risky, don't mind it though. If he can stay fit, I think he'll be good for at least 80, making him a good stepping stone, but could very well go close to 90 and be a keeperHave done so many huge backflips on structures and players. One hour l'm feeling that going safe is the way to go, the next it's all captain risky (eg Nank/Sandi and Witts). Think l've hit a reasonable middle ground with this.
Biggest risk is defence l know. Did have Marchbank for ages but decided dropping him to a pure rookie freed up extra cash to get JOM back in midfield. Overall, l hope (ok, pray) the other lines will make up for a relatively weak defence!
Higgins and Steele could be mid price traps but l really like both and it allows me to field minimal rookies that have ok to very good JS.
Only tweaks l may still make is defence rookie bench and Parfitt. Could also downgrade Hanners to say Jelwood, or Pods in maybe Zerrett or Shuey (damn you Cognilio!) to boost emergency cash - have $14k left.

Absolutely.Love Jones but he's awkwardly priced and no guarantee to break out yet, should do though.
Not sure about Rockliff either but his potential monster scores sucked me in.
Seems a lot of teams look similar this season, not a whole lot of variety unless you take major risks.
Here's a picture of the team I have settled on...

Apart from the ruck combo I like this team a lot! Cripps carries some risk as well.View attachment 347553
Went with the crazed ruckline and it doesn't look too bad. Gives the extra premium in the midfield which means more scoring

This isn't my actual team, no way I'm starting without Gawn, just like to look at other structures from time to timeL

Pretty happy to see more and more of teams go off Gawn! I couldn't be less worried about Jakey Spencer, he'd be lucky to last a month. If anything it just means a couple extra goals and contested marks in the forward line for big Maxy
I do have Beams ATMSo the interrupted preseason then means
No Sandi
No DBeams
No Rocky
No Pendles
No Parker
No Sloane
No Cripps
No Bont
No Goldy
how is a premo mid scoring 100 better than a premo ruck scoring 100?View attachment 347553

It was West Coasts starting 22 from 2013

RUCK: Gawn, Sandi (Strandica)
FWD: Roo, Dahl, Ryder, Steele, WHE, Houston (Butler, Eddy)
B:

MID: Danger, Pendles, Treloar, JPK, Fyfe, Beams, TMitch, Powell Pepper (Baratt, Parfitt, Atley)
RUCK: Gawn, Sandi (Strandica)
FWD: Macrae, Dahl, Nank, Steele, Taranto, Pickett (Houston, Eddy)
Sorry guys about before,misunderstanding
Any thoughts on this team would help? Few mid price risks like Murphy, Sandi, Steele and O'meara but I think all will go alright this year.
Rookies will change obvs.
AThoughts lads!? A OR B??
In this case it was Higgins, Gawn and Cameron vs Nankervis, Cripps and Witts. I project them at 98, 117, 61 (276) vs 91, 112 and 78 (281), respectively. Which means they have more point production?how is a premo mid scoring 100 better than a premo ruck scoring 100?
OK here it is folks. Still so many questions which means so likely changes.
This team just feels right except for the 200k+ rookies. YUK
