EDFL page says Keilor won by over 100 which should have been expected. Much better league

I wonder if darley had a few out then...tbh im not sold on some of their recruits they've picked up, not sure what expectations are internally

Keilor kicked about 16 goals to Darleys 3. Galea kicked about 10 and both sides had 7 or 8 out. number 9 one of the graham brothers was a standout for Darley. Don't know why Darley are playing matches this early with the season so far away?

Any update on the Matt Notman saga ? I see on the clearance site he's been denied 3 times now. Now it goes to appeals board ?? Spoken to a couple of people affiliated with the bloods & they are still adamant he'll be playing for Melton in 2017 rather than sitting out a year of footy

Surely something can be worked out.
Hearing a little about the Ballarat clubs, Lakers, Redan and Eastpoint, North. Just looking at the clearance report, seems to be a few ex-Rebels kids signing with Redan and EastPoint. Redan seem to have cleared a stack of players and have gained a few, including 2-roosters listed kids. Can't see them finishing top-3. Lakers have a new coach and their list doesn't seem to have changed much, picked up a few from the CHFL and Lucas Anderson back from injury is a big plus. Hard to tell with East, a few from last years Rebels, Semmons from Barwon, plus Ratley and Payne from CHFL, all good pickups. North City look to be struggling, didn't look like they needed that big bus to take 15 or so players on their team camp to Horsham.

I have not heard a great deal from Ballarat. The Courier season preview should be out soon, might know more after that.
Have heard Lakers have lost a few including the best defender in the comp. Redan have lost a lot so hard to judge. As you say, bit hard to tell with East Point, big step up for Ratley coming from Smythesdale but will wait and see. Draw a line through the other 3. Fair to say that the better teams will be from the East this year.

Every signing they announce is further confirmation that they are well over the cap. Good luck to them if they can get away with it, but any flag they win will be tainted as no one believes it is within the current rules.
But then again why introduce a rule that cannot be policed. Let everyone spend.

That's about 33 or 34 points with 7 players. They then need 15 locals on 1 point each. Might not be good enough.
