Opinion Out of all these young guys, who will make it?

That passage of play late in the 3rd where Florent and Hayward were involved is something we will see a hell of lot of IMO.
Both look genuine contenders for better than average.
Aliir , that candy that he sold was just a small sign of what he is capable of. Players that can make time for themselves are rare.

Florent, Hayward, Aliir- 200+ games
Naismith looks another go getter but has injury issues that will hold him back. - 150 games

Foote, Rose, Marsh, Dawson and Fox will be moved on at some point. Too vanilla. - < 50 games

Newman is the interesting one. Looks like the type that will flourish the more senior footy he plays. - 150+ games

James Rose - Spud soon to be delisted.
Jordan Foote - Spud soon to be delisted.
Will Hayward - STAR and stay at Sydney.
Oliver Florent - Average player, will be traded, meh.
Nic Newman - Average player will be the next Marsh/Laidler honest type.
Harrison Marsh - Average, will be traded for opportunity elsewhere.
Jordan Dawson - Spud soon to be delisted.
Sam Naismith - Honest average player, stays with Swans. Staffordesque.
Aliir Aliir - STAR and stays at sydney. Makes AA team.
Robbie Fox - Spud soon to be delisted.

stiff on these imo
Rose - think he can play, just been sporadic/inaccurate
Florent - think he's shown chunks justifying why we picked him + why he can be a very good player, consistency will come with time (i hope)

I am extremely relieved that you're not our list manager.

James Rose - doubt we'll see him again. Doesn't look up to it. 7-15 games.
Jordan Foote - not an AFL standard mid. Only chance of making it is as a Nick Smith-esque small defender. 20-30 games.
Will Hayward - will be quality. Not quite AA level but a key player for a number of years. 225-275 games.
Oliver Florent - as long as he builds up a tank he'll be quality. Again will be a key player without being truly elite. 225-275 games.
Nic Newman - should be a good player. Looks to have most of the skills. Age will keep his games played tally down. 150-175 games.
Harrison Marsh - decent foot solider but not much more. Will carve out a solid career as a fringe player but won't dominate. 80-120 games.
Jordan Dawson - tough to gague. Think his fitness will let him down and turn him into wasted potential. 20-30 games.
Sam Naismith - will be a solid component to our Best 22 for a number of years, but injuries will keep his games played tally down. 120-150 games.
Aliir Aliir - will be top-class, possibly pushing AA honors. 200-250 games.
Robbie Fox - will struggle to crack Best 22 for most of his career. Might crack it temporarily but will get overtaken by better, younger players. 50-70 games.

Rose has far more football talent than Foote .100 plus games.

I predict that Fox will be an automatic selection in the midfield by the half way mark of the season. 100 plus games.

Dawson is a talent. 100 plus games.

Marsh is a journeyman, he'll be lucky to crack 100. If Johnson ever gets back, there's no way he stays.
Florent I don't know yet, he's capable of some really good moments, a bit of a highlight player.
Hayward has looked OK in his games so far
Aliir and Naismith should each crack at least 150.

Newman & Fox would be lucky to make 100 AFL games, already over the age of 23.
