Thanks guys for your help...
I need to sure up my DEF line & pittard is a good option - so i might trade early
Shaw - i've got enough yoyo & has not bottomed out
Adams - missed out but injury history is putting me off
Doch - still too expensive
Rance & laird - are already in my team

After playing Carlton and Hawthorn...

Reality check coming against the Weagles.
Mmmm....Matera for season 2017 against Carlton and Hawthorn, as you say is not a ringing endorsement .......but in addition

Matera's possession statistics (ave) are almost double the flat-line season averages he's had over the other 6 years of his career .......if that's not a sobering thought, Matera's season best goal average over 6 years is 1.7 goals, so far in 2017 his goal average is 4.5 goals

I think it's fair to say .....buyer beware

so you think im better off going yeo

:p:p sorry .....but IMO it's like going from the bow of the Titanic to stern, so as to stay dry ?

Yeo has a horrible SC reputation .....he's burnt me a few times .....has he changed and likely to be SC consistent ?, i wont be taking that gamble

what would you sugest

by the way im ranked 1681 so far this year and have no idea how to go about the byes
By the sounds of it, you're doing fine ......just trust your gut, not the group think

With the Byes, just my opinion, try and not have too many Round 11 players, you'll have to trade them to round 12 or 13 players to have 18 players on the field, but the players you trade in are yet to have their byes .....so you can see the issue ;)

Grab Yeo, the kid looks great. Finally playing in the role that suits him, not being thrown around to fill gaps

He's about to do a Docherty imo

Marchbank close to moo point, will be great if EVW debuts and has a blinder as it's an easy downgrade decision.

Wouldnt trust brad scott at all. His job is on the line just from the fact he has been there so long now and a few big losses that can happen when u play kids is something he is very much trying to avoid.

Only tolerated 1 game from mountford and hibberd before giving them the ass.

True, wouldn't bring any in until they've had two good games.

I in no way suggest that Matera is now a must have, breakout, top 6 fwd, but given the score that he had last week and the fact he is on the bubble means he needs to be considered as a tool to generate cash in a season where big generation is scarce at best.
If some has the trades and a spare bit of cash they could do worse. If I were to do it for instance it would be for Eddy, hibbard or Mountford all non playing rookies. It would also allow me to push steele into mids getting spp off field. Also has greater scoring potential than any other rookie being suggested and after rd 8 will be able to trade to most fallen premos for small change.
As i said, not recomending, just considering!

After making two trades this week have 140k and 25 trades left.
Went SPP to Balic and Florent to Grundy.
Plannng next to cull some def rooks and bring in Doc. Currently around 1200 rank so any thoughts or diff trades appreciated

Marchbank and Treloar to Matera and Docherty. In 2 weeks ill downgrade Shaw to a defence rookie and upgrade a parfitt/spp to Bont

Would downgrading SPP now to Balic and then Balic to somebody else in a week or two with the intent to upgrade a Witts or Roughie be worth it is that burning away a useless trade?

I think he has to be considered at least. 2 x80's in next twp weeks makes that cash and in a season where rookies are stagnating, all options to make some cash should be looked at. If it means getting a rook off field even better!
I have Heppell and Treloar who are struggling ATM but don't want to trade a premium. Should i trade one of them to Matera, and upgrade Marchbank to Doc, or trade SPP and Hannan to Balic and Matera

As an aggressive (aka stupid) trader, Parsons copping 2 weeks is great

round 6:
rookie -> Fisher
rookie -> Premo

round 7:
rookie -> Parsons
rookie -> Premo

Parsons used 'The People's Elbow' on Hodgey. Not in terms of the hit on Hodge, but in terms of sacrificing himself from playing footy for 2 weeks so we can bring him in when he returns because he understands we have other SuperCoach needs to worry about this week :thumbsu:
