My long-handled shovel fits in the car. Mine is a trenching shovel, used to dig trenches for reticulation etc.
Bein an expert on shovels, you would say long handle digging?

I do wonder if the zip was undone to get the body bent?

Pretty hard to tell what was used to dig that hole.
As for the jeans, no, unzipping jeans to bend bodies seems unnecessary. If she could line dance in those jeans then he didn't need to undo them unless there were nefarious reasons.

DNA butt man made a phone call to his sister from a public phone box near by. I still don't understand some leaving Corryns car outside Rayneys mates house in Kershaw street. (Thatll get him) This would insinuate stalking. It certainly looks a reasonable attempt at implicating Lloyd.
No mates DPP prosecutor.
Despite twice being cleared, he is still being targeted. While on trial for phone tapping, his home was egged and a dead crow left on his driveway — the ninth such incident.

Possible the sex offender attacker/s found this address in Corryn Rayney's car or handbag? Heading that way decided to throw an investigation off by leaving it outside this persons house.

The bigger question is if they had DNA why wasn't it brought into Trial and why then was Lloyd Rayney charged?

Even Justice Martin said there were other 'strong possibilities'' From his judgement via wiki

In his judgment summary, Justice Martin noted that police and forensic evidence was consistent with a sexual attack on Mrs Rayney,
[40] while defence lawyers identified at least two possible criminals who "should have been investigated with as much rigour as Mr Rayney".[41

Even with this knowledge in 2012, 5 years after the death of Corinne , has the DNA been explained?

Why hasn't Rayney pushed for the DNA of saliva be presented? It is very odd. Maybe it is a woman's DNA, and police have blown it off as misadventure? Still, very odd as you say regarding DNA brought into trial.

The hole appears to be a metre deep. That means someone had to get in that hole which would have been tight. Short handle shovel not easy digging at its deepest point. Dressed in what clothes?

Were police not a big fan of Rayney to be told by the judge that other avenues had not been tested?

Telephone tapping by a police IT employee externally contracted by Rayney. Its a complex web.

Murder of a government supreme court employee is more than a serious matter. The heightened security risk brings duty of care obligations of government.

The trial started with two charges levelled at Mr Rayney – that he “aided, abetted, counselled or procured” surveillance specialist and then-WA Police IT worker Timothy Pearson to install a phone tapping device on his family’s Como home phone line in July 2007.

This IT worker was later suspected of selling Dextroamphetamine to fellow government department workers. Crack users sometimes take on Dexi use as a supplement for the drug.

You just cant make this **** up!

I wonder if either of these sex offenders had experience in digging vertical graves. It's quite efficient and probably wouldn't need a long handled shovel at all if the first layer taken out was used as a step.

"Lacco was named by Mr Rayney’s defence team as a possible suspect in Mrs Rayney’s murder, amid claims police did not thoroughly investigate Lacco and a career criminal friend he was living with near the Rayneys’ Como home at the time of the 2007 murder."

The men lived in the same suburb as the Rayney family, and the Supreme Court was told Eades's DNA was on a cigarette butt found outside their house

The third-most dangerous criminal in Western Australia, the “very violent sex offender” Allon Mitchell Lacco, was in the street where Corryn Rayney lived on the day she disappeared, the state’s Supreme Court has heard

Anyone done a height comparison?
Reading my mind.
He looks maaaybe 2-3 inches taller in this video. I think jane wore a mid to low heel from memory.
Edit.. if Jane was close to my height (5ft 7) then it 'feels' like MM was 5' 10/5' 11.

I say feels as the girls on this thread would get it. You just kind of 'know' his tall a guy is by the body positioning when you are a certain height.

This will be interesting, only a month away. Wonder how it will pan out with the state relying on witness statements from people who have since died, that could be a problem and maybe one of the reasons why Wark's chosen judge only trial.
Thinking this is a dress rehearsal for the CSK trial.

CSK had outshone this one... and he has been cooling his heels waiting for court proceedings.

Rayney update :
http://www.perthnow.com.au/news/wes...y/news-story/5784d147fb9256572c2a2be55a31dbe7
This information confirms to me that sometimes some individuals need a good shaking.

"
In 2009, Mr Casilli said he travelled to New South Wales to interview Lacco.

The court was told a search of his home found a map of Kings Park, a diagram of the layout of the Supreme Court, where Mrs Rayney worked, and page torn out of a calendar from August 2007.

Mr Casilli said when asked about the items, Lacco told him he "had an interest" in the Supreme Court building and had once worked at Kings Park."

How could Rayney, in light of this be the ONLY suspect? Has there been any investigation into the history of Rayney prosecuting either of these two, Lacco and Eades or any of their associates?
