Can't stand the people racing to their high horses to condemn her for life for unknowingly taking a banned substance that had only just been added to the banned list. Hope she dominates while Serena is out just to stick it up them

Disagree, she knew what she was taking was improving her performance - she obviously didn't know it was banned (if she did you can guarantee she would've jumped onto the next 'legal' substance).She knew!

who cares what an ITF player thinks. IIRC, they have had bad blood for a while. think it was about who is top bitch on the WTA/Nike
i really should become a tennis administrator. If that is indeed what happens, you create interest that a Maria will generate(which is what WC should do) without as much backlash.
hopefully, they invite Maria to the live broadcast of her fate. should be riveting then.

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if the French open gives her the WC. now that Serena is out the women's side needs their big stars playing,ie, Maria

As if she wouldn't win qualifying anyway. It's smart anyway, as it allows a qualifier to maybe be French coming out of the Qualifying. Maria isn't losing to chumps ranked 200+ in qualifying!

That's why they will give her a WC be done with it. Let some young French girl hopefully qualify.
Without Williams it will be an absolute disaster for marketing reasons alone if Sharapova isn't there. No doubt they have already made their mind up they just want to look like they have thought about it.

They are but the WTA will want Sharapova there, it just is the way it is. They want their headline stars there, they have already lost Serena...Azarenka is injured, and Bouchard will last literally 1 round!
