wherever you get a chance to make the comment that Grey's goal was called a point and not reviewed. All the evidence we have suggests it was a goal.
We were behind the line - a fair distance away granted out on the wing - but we thought it was a goal. I doubt Grey would cause a fuss if he wasn't confident.

Ross has brought up that Grey goal in his presser. The Vic media will be hard pressed to bang on about that goal reversal when it miffed the coach/club enough to actually mention it in the presser, considering how he hardly ever mentions the officiating.
So the AFL media has created a clip of the Richmond goal not allowed because of the push on Hamling so Tiger fans can have their whine. Anyone here able to create a clip of the Grey goal?

according to the match report on afl.com we only won because the umpires made a mistake not paying that goal on the 3/4 time siren.
no mention of Grey's controversial point (which was never replayed).

They've edited the match report on the afl site, though, including the Brady Grey behind in the text. Morons. Writer must be a Tiger whiner. Buried the "contentious umpiring" deeper in his edited article, now with comments from Ross Lyon's press conference. Didn't even have the balls to stand by what he wrote.

Did they not watch the game, how could they miss Grey injury.

MEDICAL ROOM

Richmond: One positive for the Tigers was they got through injury free.

Fremantle: Cameron Sutcliffe left the ground briefly in the second quarter with a minor cut on his head, but the Dockers will return west without adding to their injury list.

Sutty's was a busted nose, but a minor cut. Looked broken, and there was blood pouring out of it most of the game. Don't know how he was never called blood rule for it

He had cotton wool stuffed into both nostrils, mustn't have been easy. I know he has his limitations, but can't say the guy doesn't play with some heart.

The article did point out that Eddie had to go through two agonizing loses on the weekend. Collingwood v GWS, as well as Freo v 9thmond.

Eddie was horrendous. All Riewoldt had to do was look in the general direction of the ball and Eddie would lose his mind. Then be quitly crying in some corner of the commentary booth every single time Hamling negated him. Same with the "CRASH BANG" he said when Dustbin Martin was simply fumbling the ball. FFS m8 have some integrity, you're on live TV (for those with foxtel at least :p).

Great to be reminded again what a quality bloke we have as coach.

Sheehan says this morning on Melbourne radio that Bennell will never play AFL again. I was listening live on SEN. Ross says that analysis is finger nail deep and last week they met to form a plan that Bennell will play in the WAFL in 5 weeks time.

Also a great explanation of the background to "You're quite brilliant Shane". Freo had been railroaded into playing at Kardinia, had played out of their skin to achieve an upset win and this bloke wants to talk about off the ball incidents. So he decided to go in hard.

Fyfe's leadership in these last 6 weeks is a massive part of why we are where we are.

And lastly we don't have a win at all costs mentality in this day and age. We want to be better than that.
