How do you know that exactly? I mean feel free to dismiss me, but why on earth would I come sprouting lies about a player not at the club I support potentially moving to another club I don't support? Either what I'm saying is true as things currently stand, or I've seriously got nothing else in the world to do.

He was still contracted for this year. He didnt need to sign a new contract a year out if he just wants a flag and then to leave. I think you have nothing else to do because nothing you have posted makes any sense.

Nothing to do with clearance sales or anything, just that I know for a fact, as things currently stand, he intends to go home at the conclusion of his contract.

That's a good point, will still choose to believe what I know however, it might not make sense as you say but I can guarantee that as it stands, it's true.

Oh no I meant as in they left the club meaning his two best mates weren't there, not that he'd follow them home.
But I guess he'd be going back home after a premiership for more money and just to return home.

Sidenote: Ahern would still be at the club if his ACL wasn't injured (twice), and so too would Marchbank if he wasn't such a daddy's boy. Ahern had a year left on his contract and Marchbank had one in front of him...Not like we kicked his besties out of the club and he hates us for it...

I still don't think that would justify paying overs for Taranto when you could just go to the draft and take a mid that's one year younger.

The facts are that as it stands right now he intends to go home after his contract expires. That's a fact. It may change of course but that's where it lies right now.

And it would be pushing the proverbial uphill. Having found a winner last thing we want is to trade him and go back to the draft and try again. No way no how. At the end of 2018 he gets a chance to move if he wants. As thiings stand we'll no doubt make a serious offer at some point before then
